The RNC addressed listable, key issues of Americans and showed different perspectives on the same issues at times; Data and verifiable information was brought up when relevant.

I'm a fairly left wing person, I have been watching both conventions and here's my thoughts I wanted to share with you lovely people

RNC:

• Very energetic
• Having the Teamsters Union guy speak was extremely telling of the direction the GOP wants to head in regarding workers rights, something I never expected
• Trump barely spoke about Biden, and his speech was unscripted which sounded more natural obviously
• A lot of fun with dancing, celebrating and really coming together, again something the GOP has struggled with for a while
• While some speakers were boring, it feels there was a lot of energy in others
• Not choosing establishment figures, old GOP guard etc was smart, and showed the party moving in a new direction

DNC:

• Low energy
• So much talk of abortion, is this the only issue they can win on?
• So many establishment figures that many Dems fucking hate, Hilary being one of them.
• Wheeling out Obama to regain 2008/2012 voters is fucking dumb and won't work
• Kamala doing short speeches, and distant appearances just looks really odd. Trump didn't campaign and was there during the prime time speeches, why couldn't she do the same?
• Identity politics out the ass, I'm so tired of the left doing this
• The speech's seem forced, everyone has a gun to their back
• The biggest elephant in the room, Israel, is being side stepped a lot, and many in the audience are not committed.

I don't see how anyone can watch this shit and go "yep the DNC are back". They're not. Biden was obviously and rightfully pissed off for being snubbed, they have to wheel out old farts to convey their dumb message, and I don't think the average Joe watching this feels much. I mean, the incumbent party talking about all these promises, why don't you do them NOW while you have the chance. Hell, why wasn't it done 2-4 years ago when they had both houses under their control. It just feels like a party struggling to define itself, to figure out exactly it's goals are going to be, and how it will be any different than Biden. Most voters have made up their mind, I think the whole election is a done deal at this point. DNC have completely shit the bed.
