For what it's worth British libel laws are not relevant to this case. Khelif's lawyer (who almost certainly believes Khelif is a woman) has filed a complaint (not a "lawsuit") for cyber-harassment in France. The French law is to stop organised campaigns targeting an individual. People have gone to jail under this law, typically for directly sending death or rape threats.

I don't think the lawyer knows what he is doing any more than Khelif.
