I'm pretty much a retard when it comes to biblical study, but I always imagined the curse of the tower of Babel was the innate differences between human species. I don’t think they‘ve been forced to vote Demonrat. Blacks are a population with room temperature IQs. Stumbled across this looking for something else. OP changed her batteries even though she was tempted to ignore them:

I had a home before and I was not privy to understanding a smoke alarm is normally wired. My smoke alarm's battery was beeping so much at my former home, I called the fire department to come help me. I didn't know what to do but I wanted to pull it down and out the wall. I am so happy I didn't, lol.

Then I had the luxury of apartment living and all I had to do was call maintenance and they replaced my batteries. My dog used to go CRAZY with that damn beeping and I remember one time calling maintenance in the wee hours of the morning to change out the battery lol.

Fast forward to this weekend. One apprehension I had as a single woman purchasing another house was the maintenance, including changing out a smoke detector. Thanks to YouTube I prepped myself months ago, but y'all know viewing and doing are totally different.

Well one of the smoke detectors was beeping. I noticed my dog didn't go crazy and y'all I was going to ignore it, but I told myself girl change out not just that battery... but all of them as I knew it was only a matter of time before the others started chirping.

Good for her!

Another smoke alarm battery thread: You have to be crazy to live in a house with a smoke alarm beeping every 45 seconds

How the hell are people able to live like this without losing their minds? The second my smoke alarm starts beeping I summon my husband to put a new battery in.

The worst is when you’re listening to a live stream and the beeping is going off in the background. Even if someone calls into a show and they have the beeping going on, I can only listen for a few seconds before getting a headache. Living in a house with one beeping nonstop is downright certifiable.

I can't stand it. It's literal torture. The ceilings in my bedrooms are really high and I have called the fire dept to come change the batteries.

I was just thinking about this. We have 2 smoke alarms with dying batteries. The chirp it makes is loud and shrill. It scared my dog and drives me crazy. It chirps like every 20 seconds. I just press the button and it stops for a few hours. I really need to change the batteries soon
