If you really want to turn WA red, change your address and your name. The state will send you 5-6 ballots for a 2 adult household. Sometimes they will continue to do that for years, even after you've called the state elections board and informed them of their mistake. Mind you, this might only work if you live in a blue district.
Can confirm, when I moved out of my parent's house in a blue county, they kept getting my ballot even though I had already registered in my new county.

One thing I will say about the polls is that if they are accurate and Kamala wins then it seems like a repeat of 2020 where people didn't vote for her because they liked her, but because they hate Trump. Even so, her approve ratings going up when she hasn't done anything is proof of gaslighting because she has done nothing impressive. The only thing I can look forward to if she wins is how the media will spin it when her approval ratings go back down.

It's gonna come down to casting your vote for nice guy or a guy who will get it done.

This might have some sway in Washington State. The 3 major cities are blued up, but the rural coastline areas fucking love RFK. For every Kamala sign in Seattle, there's 10 Kennedy signs on the peninsula. These areas are mostly old school hippies that probably haven't voted for a republican since the 80s, if ever. They might not all go for Trump, but almost none of them are going to Kamala. Jill Stein will probably have a better showing, too.
I spent a bunch of time on 101 a week before the primary, the place was covered in signs for Semi Bird, basically the only non-local race I saw signs for. Semi Bird didn't even come in first among Republicans in the primary, and he was the officially endorsed candidate.

And if she looses?

For whatever reason you want to think, many people do not want kids or do not think children/mothers are valuable.

Okay. So you had a bunch of people who grew up with trama of mom and dad being in their early 20's or fuck maybe even being teenagers. Mom and dad dont like eachother etc.

I fucking dated a white trash girl whose little sister got knocked up in highschool and the fucking red necks were all "niice" the marriage didnt last because to be honest teenagers make shitty parents.

I myself am an out and out bastard. women shouldnt be treated as broodmares and wanting people to have some maturity under their belt are not at all hostile or at odds to "family values"

Being terminally online doesnt grant maturity I ve seen young people just kinda twist in the wind, plus cheap housing and good jobs would help.

There's no hype around state republicans at all. The WA GOP is literally a joke. Culp is as close to the sun as WA republicans ever got since I've been around, and it wasn't very close.

I’ll be real with you - I dunno what point you’re trying to make.

There’s a whole swath of a generation of women and men who are phobic of pregnancy, childbirth, and motherhood/fatherhood. They view it in entirely negative terms. It covers a diverse group of varying ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Assuming childbirth or motherhood grants an obvious “advantage” to females over males would be a mistake when neither things are respected in our culture anymore. I was replying to a previous post that stated that in essence.

The REASONS behind the devaluing of children and parenthood can be argued from a million different angles. I’ve seen countless explanations from cultural, religious, and economic perspectives.

None of this involves teenage parenting or using women as “broodmares”(?). Or at least that’s not what I intended.

It comes down to the usual suspect.

Boomers pissed off that the kids they got knocked up with before abortion was legal stopped the party.

When the mentally enslaved base has a choice of leftist Democratic flavors, Kamala polls badly. When they are informed they may only choose one flavor, they approve of that flavor, just as they've been trained to do.

Some people aren't taking "Vote Blue No Matter Who" seriously enough. It's not just an empty slogan, it's a distilled, memetic instruction set that changes how they think. Once they accept the need for power, and the need for collective action to achieve collective power, everything else is justification. And since leftist politics is inherently emotional, that political justification must become emotional justification.

This is a long way of saying they convince themselves to like whoever the designated leader is. That sounds like it's indicating 1984 levels of brainwashing... and it is. That's where they are. If you don't believe me, go look at all the garbage vibes stuff coming out of the DNC the last few days. They put Walz up on the "hotties wall", for fuck's sake.

Sorry I didnt develop my thesis well.

Like alot of things the starting point is not soo crazy.

From where I am sitting A starting point in people being afraid of pregnancy has to do with the issue of teen pregnancy.

The example with my ex's little sister is that she was a senior in high school got knocked up and had mother hood thrust on her.

People in their early 20's are more hedonistic and by the mid 30's they are fucked.

Dino Rossi won the vote for governor the first three times they counted, but unfortunately they only certified the fourth time they counted, once they finally "found" enough to take Gregoire over the top.

Edit: it's too short for me to make any judgement
Tim Walz reminds me of the kids that used to bully me in elementary school for having autism back in the day.
From the way he talks about JD Vance to being a deceptive cunt to this.

Some of us are neither, we just choose to keep the pork off our fork because it is a disgusting animal.

Pork is not as disgusting as bacon is delicious.
But I heard that human flesh taste the same as pork, and to me that's kinda fucked and weird, so that's why I try to avoid non-bacon pork, whenever possible.
Also I was in a farm once and saw how they kill pigs the traditional way, when I was about 6. So I also have a soft spot for them. Not as soft as the fat on that bacon, though.
