Baris has said, for like a year now, that without RFK in the race, Trump wins in a landslide. With RFK in the race, Trump could still win but it would be a squeaker.

It's all to do with the true independents. Guys like Joe Rogan or Aaron Rodgers. If RFK runs, they'll vote for RFK. If RFK drops out, they'll vote for Trump. Now with RFK potentially being involved in the next Trump administration, those guys have added incentive to vote for Trump

He's been one of the most accurate pollsters for many cycles and is as transparent as he can be without giving away his trade secrets. He's an extreme critic of how polling has become an extension of the Democrat media machine. I'm behind in the thread but I tuned into the Trump rally on a whim and he's electric again. It's great to see him so high-energy after the last couple weeks of him being kind of subdued.

RFK Jr. dropping out is a huge blunder. Now thousands of disaffected Democrats who were unsure of Harris are now siding with her to ensure her vote counts. To this day I still don't know why I find Trump just so amusing and fascinating to listen to

I mean to compare Kamala's speech last night to Trump's today.

Kamala's speech was the most focus tested speech full of vague promises to fix things and all about herself. Didn't leave anything open to spontaneity or the audience outside pauses for the typical cheers, claps and the odd "USA" chant.

Trump does tend to have a set speech. But he tends to be reactive with how that speech goes. So you know he's gonna respond to recent stuff or adapt his speech to what voters in that area care about.

He also knows how to get the crowd going. For example - polling the crowd on if they like "Komrade Kamala" as a nickname.

Plus he calls on local reps he knows. So there's a Lil community aspect to it as well. Who Kamala gonna call on?
