Weird question I thought of today. I've been told I do it "wrong".

We'll say this is specifically about the lower case "o", because apparently some people are total freaks and write them differently depending on case. Also, this is about normal writing, not cursive.

I do it like every normal person does:

Clockwise? You are maniacs.

Still, I've seen people write 9's like a full circle, and then a stick on the right, in two motions, so I'm not surprised.

Also, this is about normal writing, not cursive.
printing follows from cursive, stroke order and direction should be the same with the only difference being whether it's connected up.

Counterclockwise from the top, same as if I was writing a C but go all the way around and connect the ends.

Clockwise from the top. My handwriting is a fucking mess though because I'm a retard, I'm sure if my parents had more money I'd have been diagnosed with dysgraphia.

Cursive WAS normal once upon a time.
all that shit has got someone's handprints all over the place. When I learned to write, I learned cursive and so did all my friends, but skip ahead a decade or two and I'm here writing my loops and sweeping capital letters while they handwrite in helvetica. When did they switch and why? It is an eternal mystery to me and I'm not sure which ethnic group is responsible.

I take one pencil in each hand, cross them, place them horizontally across from each other on the page, and then draw a full 360 degree arc with both of them simultaneously, in opposing directions
