Think about it. They constantly attack meritocracy and equality of opportunity, because most of them are fucking failures. Examine many of the loudest and most obnoxious ones and you will find, practically to a person, that they are complete bumblefucks who have never accomplished anything and have squandered every chance they have been given.
Just like Marx himself, really. It's an ideology for failures.

Not to /pol too hard but this is the wheel turning, democracy gives rise to socialism as it falls or is corrupted, that's the pattern.
The kids don't have a future, their degrees are worthless, there is no ground level economy to employ them anyway, machines make better art then they could ever hope to, the debt is insurmountable, war looms tall on every horizon.... of course they want Marx to come in and hard reset the system and redistribute goods, of course they want Mao to struggle session their parents into submission... What do they have to loose? They don't know it but if you anonymized large swaths of mustache-man/Mussolini rhetoric they would agree with them too.
This is the natural order of things, when the imaginary numbers get too large and non-sensical you need an authoritarian to clean slate, when the hegemony becomes too disconnected and entrenched you have to drag them out and drag them down. This is exactly what Europe went through in the 1920's/30's. The difference is we live in the post industrial/nuclear/globalized world and the scale has been weighted for 80 years in favor of 'democratic socialism'/globalized communism over mid-century-German/Italian forms which have been completely infiltrated and suppressed well in advance.
TLDR; It ain't the kids, it's the times and they are a product of them.

If I see a sci fi setting game and the main character is some ugly fat woman girl boss, I can rest assured the dev team had no interest in making game focused on being fun or having an actually interesting story.

Eh, I've had mostly good experience with Lightning Games. Indie cultures are dependent on where their local market is. If it's in a country--like America today--that wants woke, the game will be woke. When it's outside America, it's probably not woke. It also depends on whether it's an H-game or not, as H-games are magnetically opposed to woke.

I remember some fucker saying how big of an out play it would be to the chuds if they changed the name. Like we don't listen to their propaganda and internal talks already. And it is some Herculean task to say "This is the new term they have invented for the old bullshit". It is still the same idea, with a re-brand. Like it will trick people. They think the same people who bullied the WEF in to deleting the "you will own nothing" slogan, would get bamboozled by a name swap?
