Incels are actually right that women do want men that can provide, have jobs, can hold a conversation, and take their health seriously. Women, especially young women, are encouraged to find men that can be those things, because regardless of career, a young woman will often have to take time off work to give birth and raise kids. This puts a dent in earning potential. Women that are able to stay home full time, because the husband makes enough money, often face job discrimination when going back into the workforce when kids are older, as there is the inevitable resume gap.
Another thing, women are more often than not tasked with more household responsibilities than men. Men benefit from this greatly, and ones that understand how much they benefit will do what they can to provide for their wives in return






With all the sacrifices of just maintaining a household and raising kids (the men often want), it’s logical for women to want men that can provide.
