Nick never says things directly that would get himself in trouble. Just like the whole issue of the police planting drugs in his house, Nick will hint all the way around it so that their is only one reasonable conclusion to come to and Chrissie Mayer blurts out "Wait, are you saying the cops planted drugs in your house?" And then Nick immediately proclaims "I never said that."

At minimum, Nick would have stirred the pot heavily to get Ralph interested in Aaron. Why else would Ralph care who Aaron is in the first place?

The main thing that I find questionable about Imholte is that he's a man who wants to get back into radio, which these days is a questionable goal. Who wants to get into being a radio guy these days, much less return to it. I see these ex-radio guys around, they're doing podcasts, they're doing Youtube shows to negligible amounts of viewers/listeners and they really hope somehow they'll get noticed and be given a spot on some radio station where they're still doing 1990s morning zoo style shenanigans in the current year for some reason.

Well, that and he's another one of these guys out there who are around 40, or 50, somewhere in that age range but still act and sound like they're still in high school, bragging about stuff a teenager would think was cool. It's real off-putting.

As for taking umbrage over her doxing, there's a good chance she would've co-hosted his show within 6 mos. despite him saying he'd never do it again.

Here's the thing, Aaron would have toyed with Ralph and then proceed to eat him alive.

• April was brought to a (ratings) celebration for Steel Toe when it was still on the air. Brought by Adrienne, a black comedian and second chair when the show was on the radio.
• Johnny knew something was off in the marriage with April, about a week before the arrest.
• Johnny was considering leaving the show because Aaron seemed checked out. But instead, it was because Aaron was on blow
• Johnny is 50% that April was a beard for Aaron.
• April was friendly with Johnny, but he didn't know her that well.
• Per Johnny, Aaron is a lightweight, certainly from booze, and likely other stuff.
• Johnny doesn't watch Steel Toe when not on, and he never watched the hot tub stream. In hindsight, it makes sense.
• April was stepping away a lot more as the drug use increased (in hindsight).
• Aaron never offered Johnny a bump. Johnny never saw Aaron doing drugs and didn't really believe he did it until April got arrested (even though he was told a week later).
• Johnny confirms that the first time they met was at the comedy show. He doesn't know if ol' Balldo had his eyes on April earlier
• Johnny doesn't think Aaron was clout chasing - Aaron's a bigger deal in the area than Nick is.
• Aaron was going quiet with Johnny during the drug spiral. Once Aaron left, things went back to normal.
• Nick paid Johnny $500 to say something (presumably crude) to / about Aaron.
• Johnny doesn't believe that Aaron ran at all from Ralph in boxing- Aaron will box with anyone and has. Including his (very public) losses.

• All the above said, Johnny is pretty tapped out on the drama, when asked about if Aaron loved Kayla.
• Johnny claims that Ann is not the new slam piece (but Johnny had wondered if she might be). Johnny hasn't seen Ann at any public or private things with Aaron, but he has seen other women. There were people in chat disagreeing
• Gaydar set off - limp wrists, obsessed with butt stuff, music choices
• No confirmation on crossing swords with Nick. Aaron does get worked up about balldo accusations.
• Johnny calls April out for showing up with Ralph et al in the photo- odd behavior for someone who wanted to get off the Internet.
• Johnny calls the pic with Ralph, Nick and "Nick's bitches" as confirmation bias for Mr. "Aggressively Monogamous". He calls it a "weird family photo with the creepy uncle on the end".
• Johnny was considering leaving Steel Toe Show, but around the same time- Aaron came clean and offered Johnny a raise.
• Johnny's pay comes out of the funding on the show, he doesn't have to do OT if he doesn't want to.
• Johnny is a contractor, not a full employee of Steel Toe inc (or whatever).

There's a few things he gets wrong in this

Aaron did know she was in a relationship with Devon. There's even a text exchange out there between Aaron and Devon when Aaron is assuring Devon that nothing is happening between him and April - when there absolutely was. Recently he's retconned that to be that April told Aaron that Devon was violent and it would be better if Aaron lied to him about their relationship.

• Johnny doesn't believe that Aaron ran at all from Ralph in boxing- Aaron will box with anyone and has. Including his (very public) losses.

Aaron thinks boxing is fighting. Whenever there's a challenge between him and someone else it turns into a boxing match. He was not afraid of Ralph because Ralph is a small person and Aaron can easily overpower him. A year ago Aaron challenged Patrick Melton (host of Nobody Likes Onions) to a boxing match, and said he'd fly him out to Minnesota to box. Patrick immediately accepted. Aaron spent the next few weeks tying weird conditions onto the boxing match in order to not make it happen (in comparison, for Ethan Ralph he only needed a couple hours notice before he was ready to go in his boxing gym).

Here's a video where Patrick is trying his best to accept the challenge and whatever weird conditions Aaron puts up but Aaron keeps changing the conditions and acting like Patrick is running away:

• All the above said, Johnny is pretty tapped out on the drama, when asked about if Aaron loved Kayla.

A few weeks ago, I noticed Nick followed someone new on Instagram. A woman with a private profile. I looked at Aaron's profile and, sure enough, Aaron and this woman follow each other. She appears to have accepted a follow request from Nick, but she did not follow him back. I had a suspicion this might be SP herself, but wasn't sure. What we do know is that Nick definitely knows who she is.
