Nobody ever talks about the "creed" part in various laws. Your creed is the views you ascribe to. Whether self-created or an ideology or written set of rules as part of a group. for example the Cubs' (UK name for the Boy Scouts aged 8-10) creed would be the Cub Scout Promise, Law and Motto:

So protection against discrimination against your creed means protection against discrimination against your personal convictions, which obviously includes whatever political beliefs you have and if you're a sworn member of something like the Cubs.
