Several states have actual anti-doxing laws on the book, but to skirt around doxing's constitutional protection they almost always require some sort of imminent call to action/violence attached to them. The dox in her thread has no such thing, so whatever shit lawyer she hired is barking up the wrong tree. I very much guarantee all of these anti-doxing laws are going to be struck down except in the absolute strictest interpretation of call to violence anyways.Iiiiinteresting. Doxing is generally regarded as first amendment protected speech, and provided null does the right stuff, the farms is immunized from basically anything that the users post here because of the DMCA and CDA section 230.
Normally people threatening the farms just ignore all that and just screech incoherent threats. So it's interesting to see a lawyer at least attempt to address those issues.
I have no idea if their citations make legal sense or if it's just bluster, but interesting nevertheless.
