If there's one thing I'll disagree with null on, it's the sex pics.

For whatever reason, ShoeOnHead's, Elaine's, whatever else tart's, manage to get theirs taken down because it's otherwise an existential threat to the Farms. (Was it the complaint to the onion equivalent of a signed DNS registrar?) Anyway, some lewds/nudes/slendermanExpose's have been pulled down without, to my recollection, a direct court order.

But some other schlub's family is impacted in the same way? Eh, too bad. Get a court order, sucker. I don't really see that nudes add much to the site, and trolls are weaponizing people's poor decisions, some of whom have nothing to do with the subject other than a blood or casual relation. It's very easy for prudes to weaponize "revenge pr0n" against the site, for zero-to-very-little gain.

I’m wondering what the exception is for Elissa Clips w/r/t to most of the points Andy and Ashton have against “clip channels”.

She was monetized (until Ralph DMCAd her to hell and back, threatened to leak nudes, went after her family), she uploads “30+ minute clips” of other people’s content, and doesn’t really edit/editorialize it or comment on it.

Is it just because they skim her channel for the stuff they cover on their show? Is it a double standard?

I’m wondering what the exception is for Elissa Clips w/r/t to most of the points Andy and Ashton have against “clip channels”.

It's probably at least partially because they use her stuff, but didn't Elissa ask for permission to clip Kino Casino? If she did, I don't see why they would have an issue with her. There's some overlap with the regular Kino Casino Clips channel but it's not like they have the exact same audience, since KC's stuff on Elissa's channel deals primarily with Rekieta, as opposed to their clip channel which uploads segments of various topics. I think I started watching Kino Casino because of the stuff she's clipped from their show.

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't think it's the worst thing to make an exception for her when you consider how much money they've made because of her.

Honestly it’s a good thing. The show has definitely gotten better with the last few months but the “let’s get some subs bish” act gets old. I’m glad to see some improvement compared to the beginning of the year, especially with PPP flexing his chops as an interviewer. But interrupting the show with announcements about subs cheapens the flow of the content. It’s just my opinion.

EDIT @Maraschino honestly I forgot that she is considerate enough to at least ask for permission to clip the stuff. Apparently Doody was operating off the same principle (“b-b-b-but keem, Phil gave me permission!”), but at the end of the day Doody is a faggot and Elissa isn’t. I guess I’m a hypocrite too

I do know Null recently mentioned she asked him for permission to clip him and he gave it to her, and assumed a non-zero chance she had the same conversation with Andy and/or PPP. One of the avenues for fair use is transforming it, the other is permission, and she likely got the permission since she doesn't add commentary.
