Indians are occasionally successful at lying their way into a tech job but it just doesn't last, either the company figures out they aren't doing anything or they parasite the company into death. Lots of companies try to bait you in with "100k a year", and you ARE getting paid at that rate, but they 100% only were hiring you as a temp for a few months.

They make up for their total lack of skill in doing any meaningful work by sucking up and climbing the corporate latter by saying "yes" to literally everything upper management says regardless of the consequences. Senior management loves them and once they have influence over hiring decisions, the office will rapidly turn into an open sewer.

While this insidious cancer will eventually take down companies that have to produce something worth paying for to survive, I'm not sure what breaks the cycle in government seeing as they have infinite money.

I've mentioned it earlier in the thread but there are some European countries that are importing guest menial workers from any of the shitty Subcontinental states by the truckload, namely Poland and Croatia. Their meme Poojeet drivers licenses get immediately authenticated despite the fact that you literally just have to pay and then do a pinky promise that you totally read the rules of the road to get a drivers license in India. So far the only vehicle Poos can drive in Pooland and Pooatia are scooters that they use for food delivery, but a lot of them end up driving their scooters on the left side of the road or they go full retard and drive on the wrong side of the road on the highway, which is not allowed even if they drove on the correct side because the low powered scooters they drive don't meet the minimum speed requirement to merge onto a highway in either country.

The only poos i've noticed "driving" like madmen are the bike couriers and delivery boys, i am surprised that i don't read daily about them being killed in traffic accidents. They also always have earbuds in and are jabbering away in their barbaric tongue. The delivery boy market, for lack of a better term, is solidly poo by now, used to be you see some younger white dudes doing it but it's all poo all the time now. That working for pennies on the dollar thing compared to whitey in full effect again. I am sure poos don't know that it's highly illegal here to pay under min wage (around 13€ country-wide IIRC) or, since it's gig-work like Uber, there's ways around paying it. That’s only a partial list and it’s over a decade old judging by the Vista comment for Microsoft. The true list is every customer of a WITCH company and every American company that appears on the visa employer list.

The biggest lie about H-1Bs is that they’re filling a shortage of jobs. The jobs that they work are not necessary and exist purely because earlier batches of them blamed their failures on being understaffed. The result is that companies that are not well known for tech employ more “engineers” than tech companies that you have heard of.

For example, ARM has 7000 employees. That number includes HR, finance, legal, recruiting, marketing, and all other non-engineering departments. The average bank employs more “tech workers” than a company that designs the CPUs used by every phone in the world has total employees. Even though they have a massive army of “skilled” employees, their core financial processing software was designed in the 1990s at the latest, i.e. before they hired said army.

The average H-1B costs a company over $100k. Now, many of them don’t take home that money because their contracting firm takes half of it, but that’s irrelevant from the company’s perspective.

Imagine how many trillions of dollars a year are spent paying Indians to do nothing and what the opportunity cost of that money is. Also, think about how many trillions Americans have spent on real estate in places like the Bay Area which wouldn’t have a housing shortage if companies weren’t being used to facilitate visa fraud.
