In
a first impressions video on it I came across it was stated that the time to kill in Concord is generally high, the tutorials could be better, a quality of the team will make or break the experience, movement is slow, there are no ultmates, it's a type of game where you get massacred for the first few hours before you understand how things work and that stuff can get stale quickly. The person in the video liked the different variety of abilities each hero had so they have that going for them.
Realistically maybe it could find its own niche but I'm not sure if that will happen if the developers want to charge 40 dollars for a title with plenty of competitors in an over saturated market. Even if it went down a free to play route it could fail due to a lack of proper critically needed updates.
