Concord - robots with pronouns

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
There's probably more people trashing the game on those forums than people playing the game.
Unironically, yes. Same goes for Dustborn. There are a few actual defenders that pop up here and there (one faggot even had 40+ hours on day 3), but they get evicerated and dunked on pretty quick. It's been a humorous few days reading through there.

the entitled leftists unironically believe it being a Woke Game was the main reason it failed, if I want to play a game like this theres Overwatch and its free to play, they cannot fathom the idea of Hero Shooters being oversaturated in the market, they just want to seethe about Racism thats literally it.
it didn't fail because it's woke. that's just victim mentality.

I think the issue is just the unbelievable ego the defenders/supporters have over this.

Concord's gonna fizz out and become another punchline. I'm sure we've had shite hero shooters before and we'll continue to have them, but all they need to do is just be good games.

What about a hero shooter that uses retro pixel art in a 3-d world like octopath traveller?

It's A reason. Don't forget it being $40 in an oversaturated market of live services and hero shooters.
I'm beginning to hate the weird entitlement a lot of lefty supporters have over their stuff. It happens in so much media and they always whine when it fails. Like, that last star Wars show with all the black lesbians apparently got cancelled and the only whiners are just out calling everyone else all sorts of names over it.

That's a clownfarmer (posting bait in order to get as many clown awards as possible). Lot of that going on the forums. Saw one even buy the game (to refund later I'm sure) to have the icon "owns Concord" give credibility to his later clownfarms.

Nothing unique. Ultimates and classes like OW, twitch gameplay like Valorant. It actually looks like one of those fake games you'd see in movies.
In a first impressions video on it I came across it was stated that the time to kill in Concord is generally high, the tutorials could be better, a quality of the team will make or break the experience, movement is slow, there are no ultmates, it's a type of game where you get massacred for the first few hours before you understand how things work and that stuff can get stale quickly. The person in the video liked the different variety of abilities each hero had so they have that going for them.

Realistically maybe it could find its own niche but I'm not sure if that will happen if the developers want to charge 40 dollars for a title with plenty of competitors in an over saturated market. Even if it went down a free to play route it could fail due to a lack of proper critically needed updates.

People have pattern recognition. Any movie or game that prominently features whammen or joggers on the cover is an extremely safe instant DEI writeoff with little to no exceptions.

Its not racism or sexism, its literally just pattern recognition, you don't have to get burned many times before you start noticing.

from what i‘ve seen most of the abilities look boring and bog standard (a short dash, a bubble shield, a front facing shield, a projectile thrown that you can teleport too) all boring stuff that’s been done in multiple hero shooters already

stick a fork in her boys, she’s done
Edit: according to some steam reviews they're trying to compensate for catastrophically low player numbers by removing ping limits for matchmaking, causing most players to have unplayable connections to the server just so they can maybe fill matches
they're just kicking the can down the road for a few hours at best because more players are inevitably going to drop the game when they can only play with very poor connection

Yesterday I watched some bald manlet on youtube play it for a couple minutes. It was the first time I'd seen gameplay that wasn't from a trailer or some other promo. It's almost a 1:1 replication of Destiny 2 without any weapon variety or impactful abilities. The movement, the recoil, it all looked identical. In terms of movement and gunplay, it's definitely better than slop like overwatch, but it's obvious someone came through with an anti-fun marker and made abilities do fuckall and guns shoot nerf darts.

how is this even possible? bad games get laughed at but people even bough gollum, is it because it's just a pure single player game and you are not dependant on other players getting it? it's the only thing that would make sense that nobody wants to risk getting stuck with a dead game.
It looks so repulsive that people immediately recoil and nope the other direction.

Say what you will about gameplay, etc, but people are inherently superficial, especially when it comes to video games. If the characters all look like the kids that sit at that corner table in the cafeteria, ignored by everyone else, why would anyone pay money for the game?

This game is good example of it.

I know nothing about it but just feels like it's dei writeoff.

Defenders pinning the failure of the game on "racism" is pretty telling of how they themselves perceive it. They'd seemingly play any trash handed to them but as long as it has the glaze of PoCs and transbians it's a 10/10 for them. Fuck the gameplay, fuck lore, fuck writing and dialogue. The game doesn't exist past the minority "representation" for them.

Couple of things.

It's $40 when nearly all of it's competitors are free.

Online multi-player on consoles isn't free anymore so your paying for that in addition to the game.

Gollum is a single player game, if you really want to you'll be able to boot up Gollum in 50 years and play it just fine. Comcord is live service so it's dependant on both a steady stream of players and servers hosting it so anyone that buys this is basically buying a brick.
