Zuckerberg started a social media company and fought tooth and nail to keep it. He's from White Plains and he went to Harvard - he's not an arch conservative. Now a party he's donated tons of money to asks him to do things to oppose the primary candidate for the other party who is far more of a problem than normal candidates. Some of the opposition party members are also talking about going after his baby, his company, so it makes business sense.

So, Zuckerberg does it. He fulfills his end of the bargain... but the Democrats fucked up. Trump is the big cheese now. Democrats need someone to blame, and Zuckerberg becomes a scapegoat. Democrats and Republicans in Congress drag his ass to DC more than once, tell him he's in deep shit, and he feels the fire under his ass.

I think Zuckerberg drank the "disinformation" Kool-Aid up until the COVID shit. He got tired of being slapped around by both parties and started to cozy up a little to Republicans, as a treat.
