These sorts of cases where extradition is complicated can be mitigated by the US requesting the home nation of the criminal citizen bring charges within their own jurisdiction, and the US Government Agents would be contributing witnesses in a trial under that nations laws. I imagine what this faggot was up too probably broke the law in Serbia too. Extradition is really only pursued if there is a truly compelling need to do it. I imagine Serbia is more then capable of putting this faggot in a dungeon somewhere.

Making false reports to law enforcement is illegal in every state and territory in the United States, it is a crime. The FBI has even started to crack down on swatting earlier this year.

Swatting is also stupid. Somewhat unrelated, I remember reading stories about a dumb 17 year old kid from California making swatting calls towards a mosque in Florida and targeted government officials as well as reading about a story of an 11 year old kid from Virginia making swatting calls towards Florida schools.

Swatting is cringe and anyone that engages in it should be rightfully laughed at. Good job to U.S. law enforcement to bringing these losers from Romania to justice (and that's what they are, losers because swatting is something only total losers do).

I genuinely hope they do.

There have been cases where like cyber crime retaled charges lead to a extradition from Serbia to US (i can't remember the details but it was something along the line of hacking) Now if he gets a trial in Serbia, well... most likely he will walk free imo.

Serbia is really lax for of punishments for actions as such as bomb threats or swattings. Like, recently there have been a string of bomb threats all around the country and nothing really came out of it besides some arests that lead nowhere.
