I watched the CNN interview.

YIKES. Kamala has no chance in hell in the upcoming debate. She looks terrible in an interview that was edited down to under 20 minutes to make her look "good." I really don't think I'm overexaggerating when I say this: This is the Biden-level meltdown that we saw in all of his post-debate interviews. Holy shit!

She's in a no-win situation though. If she weasels out of the debate, then she looks like the coward. But at the same time, if she attends the debate, she's going to get proverbially murdered by Trump. She's so screwed (and NOT in the way that she's typically used to). Right now, the Harris campaign is currently weighing their options on which outcome will do the least damage in regards to the debate for them.

There will still be people who will fool themselves into thinking the interview was good. As they already brought into Kamala as a rep under Blue no matter who.

That said I try to be open somewhat and this interview was a big lot of nothing. Dana asked some interesting questions in the first half but did nothing to push Kamala for proper answers. Waffle on the day one policy plans, waffle on the economy with Kamala borderline suggesting they had done a good "start" fixing it

Walz gets asked about his active service and immediately pivots to teaching + fluff about his kid being excited at DNC with no attempt to discuss that arm tug.

I wonder if ABC decided to reject her terms for debate after seeing that CNN got an interview out of her. Her team don't seem to consider how to play nice with the press all that well

The only proposal I have come up with to potentially exit social security for the american taxpayer, would be just refunding everyone the portion of the fund they are currently entited to. Of course, the fund is massively underwater because it is a fucking scam, and we'd have to print a couple trillion to cover that. Much better than taking on the long-term unfunded liabilites of over 80 trillion dollars currently. It's such a joke. The fund is in debt, we print money to cover the payouts, and all the money in the fund is invested in US Debts......I don't see removing social security as that controversial. You want democratic "socialism", go move to a shitty europoor country with wide open borders.

Social Security is gone. The money is spent. That is why the DNC has pushed so hard to put its failure on the GOP. They know their theft has bankrupted it.
