I'm seriously impressed by how calm this woman is considering the dude just outright admitted that he would've kidnapped her if they weren't in Canada. Fucking hell.

At least he's actually cognizant enough of the law not to do it. Some of his fellow jeets and pakis aren't even stopped by that.

This is actually a really common response to a threat. There's fight, flight, freeze, and fawn. Fawn = smiling/laughing, being agreeable, engaging in conversation/people-pleasing behaviors in order to avoid conflict and appease the predator until you can escape. It's a pretty effective way of getting out of a situation alive but it's also kinda fucked because the lack of consequences just reinforces the predator thinking this shit is okay. (This is pretty much exactly how I acted the last time I was harassed by a jeet driver. I felt really guilty about it afterwards but hey at least I didn't get raped lol)

I hate the fact that the stinkiest, rapiest, most depraved people on earth are the exact people who choose to work a job where they're confined in an enclosed, unventilated space with lone & often vulnerable passengers at all hours of the night.

I firmly believe that taxi/uber drivers should be vetted in the same way as hospital workers, childcare workers, teachers, etc. They should be forced to undergo a police criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. Optimistically :optimistic: I'd also love if they had to submit to a psychological assessment, reference checks, employment history, etc. just like cops. You wanna drive lone, vulnerable, drunk women in the middle of the night? Then PROVE you're not a rapist/sex pest. No proof, no taxi job! No like, too bad, go work at Singh Hortons.

Found the video out of curiosity. She's getting a lot of uncomfortable stares at 15 minutes.
I can only rely on the auto translate captions but a lot of commenters showed concern for her being alone in India.

My last job all the Jeets were top-tier. I mentioned to one of them that a new hire used "Do the needful" on an email, and that jeet and about a half dozen of the other Jeets had a struggle session for him in the breakroom telling him to not do Typical Jeet Behavior because it makes them all look bad. It was pretty based. We all hated the gender special nonsense and my god the opinions on BLM protests, especially when traffic was blocked would have made Hitler blush; any doubts of Indians having Aryan genome totally demolished.

That said, that's not been my experience ANYWHERE else. God I hate Jeet work ethic. I had a boss who was jeet, and he gave me a negative review because I told him when shit wasn't possible. His reponse: one of the other jeets said they could do it; it never got done. But its some Jeet thing where they can't say no and don't ever want to hear no.

I also spent significant time in India. It was even the quote-unquote 'Good & modern' part of india. Trash EVERYWHERE. Its so hard to look at their architecture because they use such good materials: Big slabs of marble, thick hardwood timbers, the kind of shit you don't see in anything built after 1940 in the west... but it all looks like shit because they don't maintain it, and its covered in grime because they don't have any emissions controls. That and they had so many deserted and half-built buildings, plus literal crumbling shanty towns put wherever. And so many houses built with no plumbing, just a big water tank on the roof they pay the guy to come around in the little jeet truck to fill.

when i was working for a jeet company i had a team lead who got fired for telling the truth about how our team was at capacity and couldn't accept more work dumped on it. what he said was completely true, we were struggling to get our current work load finished, but the jeet upper tiers didnt want to hear that so they sacked him for it. not complaining since he was the biggest jerk ive ever meet so i was happy to see him go. though it ws a total nonsense reason to fire him. the point is that jeets dont ever want to hear 'no' whether that be for doing a job or a woman declining sex.

He got banned but is back again, he has a bunch of backup accounts from years ago.

Probably only got banned because of either Twitter advertisers leaving or the entire country of India protesting. Elon Musk definitely knew about this account before now and I bet he found it hilarious and was sad to have to ban him.
