Is there any evidence his firing was because of the troonery? We are talking about Canadians here, even if the troon does nothing useful you'll want to keep him around for diversity quotas.
I personally think this was a long time coming. Remember the Anthony vs. Linus Computer Fixing Challenge? Anthony was behind almost from the start, and that was despite Linus basically hosting an episode while he was working. Things like holding the computer facing away from him while he worked so he could show the camera what he was doing. By the end of it Anthony was so far behind and obviously about to have a meltdown that they had to tell Linus "just finish it now he's about to ruin the video". Or all the shots from the office where they'd happen to show Anthony working away from everyone else on a desk in what looked like some sort of hidden away stockroom.
I think he was fired/quit because he just wasn't any good at his job, and he was the kind of furry troon creep nobody likes so he couldn't even rely on coworkers liking him enough to cover for him. He was the "tech guy" until they brought in Dan, who not only knew way more about tech, but also happened to be presentable on camera.

I was thinking the same thing. Eventually content creators are going to realize that trannies are more of a liability than an asset. They'll probably continue to tow the line but from afar, with no actual contact from these radioactive creatures.

This seems a very different send off compared to other "OG" employees (I know he wasn't one of the true OGs, but still he was viewed as one of the "inner circle" and is definitely one of the most well known LTT people).
