Upper Echelon used to be a pretty decent channel in my opinion. Fairly good background noise in general. But recently he's been losing his goddamn mind regarding culture war bullshit. Now, I'd understand it because a lot of culture war freaks even on the nominal side of gamers are insufferable and annoying, but UE is on a mad centrist crusade for some reason. His reasoning is whack as hell and the 'both sides equally bad' narrative he pulls is borderline insane. People like Grummz obviously live rent-free in his head, as he spends ages complaining about the guy while barely mentioning cancel culture or mainstream journalist cancer except in passing. It's very disappointing, bordering on full Devon mode.

Don't forget about his tantrum regarding Doom Eternal, where he said the game was shit because he couldn't get past the marauders on ultra violence difficulty.
Afterwards, he made a followup ego-stroke where he claimed that his negative reviews were the only thing keeping people from going bankrupt when people we're being evil mean bullyjerks in the comments.

Kind of surprised he isn't talked about much anywhere considering how big of an ego this guy has.

I used to watch SaberSpark, Youtuber that covers old cartoons and animated oddities start to fall off in a weird way.

It was subtle at first. Covering a few things that didn't seem like red flags. Just a few furry movies and collar tugging at sexual themes. But then it started to get more... yiffy. More sexually charged. Then it turned into full blown porn and gender swap fantasies. I watched in horror, fearing I was witnessing a complete troon out. Thinking it couldn't get any worse I curiously return one day to see nothing but a bunch of Bluey content?

Then I heard about him defending a pedophile and being a total libfart. I couldn't stomach anymore. It was over the moment I also discovered a WIP of his thread. There was nothing to save.

He clearly just wants to make the point of "Hey, waiter, waiter! There's a political in my funny" because he sounds tired that this is kinda what stand-up has been for the last decade. He wants comedians to use their brains to try and come up with jokes that are funny, regardless of political leaning. The man craves the authentic funny, clearly.
