Back in early '00s, police departments used to do this cool amazing thing called a "bait truck" where they would leave something out for people to steal. They never do this anymore, because the practice was considered racist.

I got an answer for that? The White kids would be smart and sensible enough to know that apple has all sorts of protections on their devices and if the phones are turned on and reported stolen welp it gets pinged the only way out of that would be just to sell them off to someone who might be able to jailbreak them but that's getting ahead of ourselves. It's always funny to see those videos from apple stores of fucking apes doing a grab and dash of phones and ipads not realizing that those devices are just demo units and not set up and would probably have the aforementioned anti theft security on them they should just do what the beaners do and steal small high value items from Home Depot like circuit breakers and copper fittings.

Yeah, but here are a couple of counterpoints:

1. there was a meme recently where a guy ranted about "modern women." Here's a version of the rant read by AI Tucker Carlson.

So, that meme is actually about black women specifically. And notice the part at the end where he says, "talk shit on wifi because their phone is never on" - apparently it's a common thing for black women to have a phone but no cellular data account. So, maybe some of these devices are still useful to people ....in this community, even if you can't get a SIM.

2. Toward the end of Blackhawk Down (during the "Mogadishu Mile" scene) there's a Somali carrying a briefcase, wearing a suit, and holding a cellphone to his ear.



Who is this guy supposed to be? Is he the chairman of the Somalia Federal Reserve Bank? Is he the CEO of Somali Air? Is he a lawyer on his way to the courthouse to represent a goat merger? No. He's nobody. He put on that suit for the same reason other africans pretend to make airplanes:

It's for show. It's like giant spinning rims or any other display. It's intended to impress people and make them think you're a bigshot.
