Yeah, I've never seen anyone defend it. For all the endless 90s nostalgia that's all over the internet, you never see anyone soyfacing over Captain Planet.

Come to think of it, I don't remember ever seeing any other kids with Captain Planet merch. No shirts, no backpacks, nothing. I didn't even know he had a NES game until I saw it on some ROM site.

If there actually were any young fans of Captain Planet when it was contemporary, I'd imagine they were children of ultra-lefty hippies that were forced to watch Nick News, too. Like lefty versions of ultra-religious kids that aren't allowed any kind of music other than Christian rock.

When I was a kid in the 90's, Captain Planet was relentlessly mocked. The only other show that was mocked more back in the day was Barney, lol.

I want to know what unspeakable horror every single human being born before 1980 suffered. Whatever it was, it didn't stop them from growing up to start families themselves, while the supposedly much better-raised millennials are childless basket cases.

I actually agree wth Antifa & BLM. Fully defund the police. (Except for federal police who would investigate things like fraud and serial killing. Major crimes most citizens couldn't deal with.) Just have citizens police themselves. Decent people should be able to defend themselves, clean up the streets and do things like blow away junkies.
