This OF thot trolling reminds me of this dump I forgot to post here. Not quite the same, but along the same vein.

Eddie Izzard was in a reimagining of The Strange Case of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde where he plays a cis woman. Unlike Divine or John Travolta as the mom in Hairspray, there’s no camp. Someone tweeted a long scathing review tearing the movie (and Eddie’s performance) apart. There is video.

It just goes to show how many of them genuinely don't believe their own bullshit. Their talking points will change to fit any situation as it's all a bunch of contradictions. These same people will revert back to arguing you can't tell who is male and female without seeing their chromosomes in a few days when another situation arises where it's convenient for them to pretend you can't actually tell.

The vast majority of people, both men and women, are taller than 5’0”. There’s no way anyone thinks this bitch is 5’9”. The men telling her she must be that tall are clearly taking the piss, and trannies aren’t really known for being strong on social cues.

As much as troons like to lie they also enjoy exaggeration; I agree that someone telling her she's 5'9" could only be mocking her, but at the same time, if she were for instance, to be estimated at 5'5" by a stranger would it shock anyone ITT if she were to say innocently transpose 5'5" with 5'9"? Doing so not for the sake of falsehood, but simply to make a point? Language has undergone a shift towards the hyperbolic over the prior few decades, troons and poons being at the forefront of cultural and language degeneration are guilty more than anyone of this sin, and so it should come as no surprise when they engage in a bit of casual exaggeration.

I winder if the coworker is asian using a generic American name, as they often do, and the pooner is asian. That would make the question just a nothingburger. Even if people genuinely believe that she's 5'9 (which I very much doubt), in what way does it change whether she's short or not? Hell, it doesn't even change how people perceive her height. She must realise that they'll add nine inches to everyone's height so even if they believe that she's 5'9" they'd believe that the average man is 6'6". So in their mind she'll still be 9 inches shorter than the average man.
