Arcee isn't a bird that hatched out of any egg as far as I remember, and the only media she was a tranny in was IDW. Every iteration though as far as I'm aware she's genetically a woman alien robot person.

Minimum price for these is "deluxe" which has been around 25-26 for a few years now. The "voyagers" which are bigger boxes tend to be 35 and have started bordering on 40 the last few years while "leaders"(used to be bigger figures, now voyagers with pointless accessories and engineering) are like 45-55 depending on where you get them from I'm seeing stacked and possibly doubled up boxes of $200 figures if these are stacked to the back. The bottom left and middle one on the lower shelf alone would be $400 without any more behind them. The little circle pattern in the top center is a $75 box set.

We're looking at nightmare levels of money is what I'm basically getting at here. Over a longer span of time it might not be but I'm seeing shitloads of figures from the same year and same month as each other, ones I've seen the opened version of back in the fucking tranch photos . Sure THESE maybe have been accumulated overtime, but the frequency of 100-200 dollar sets in there is still fucked even if that's the case.

scalpers have gotten real bad and brazen the last few years, I wouldn't doubt kev is trying to sell some duplicates for a quick buck. I'm kind of vaguely wondering if with the comment about the logo he's planning on pulling some move "influencers" turned scalpers have been doing where they claim a figure is ugly and then go and claim it's rare and worth a lot while listing it for over 100 on ebay. Saw that happen with lego and gi joe stuff I wouldn't doubt it's the same with transformers. Exhaust isn't too expensive right now but usually all it takes is one or 2 people gettingon that "value" bandwagon for a bunch of grossly inflated price listings to overtake the sanely priced ones.

For a nightmare scenario example of what I'm talking about, look up "create a cobra" on ebay. It's a gi joe figure that for years was seen as a goofy oddity in color choice but recently it's spiked to 300 and now 999 dollar listings on ebay out of fucking nowhere. Some independent artist company made a tribute/homage figure last year that shows up too that's scalped for the SAME FUCKING PRICES AS THE THING IT'S HOMAGING. it's genuinely hellish trying to partake in any kind of hobby involving this kind of thing for a few years now. It's been just completely skinwalker subverted by troons and people trying to make insane amounts of money on shit. Both of which have weirdly deep pockets for no logical reason.

It means their favorite character is their traits = they themselves are good, special, and worthy of love. Robots are an afterthought, they just see it as a cool body type because they're usually transhumanists.

They're alien robots that in lore are technically "living beings" despite being made of metal and having robotic parts. "Spark" in this case refers to their soul, which unlike trannies which it's not provable is an actual like fully known to exist and capable of interaction type of thing. So basically they're more or less spirits inhabiting a metal shell in a sense.

The only time they really did anything super wild with the concept was in beast wars/beast machines from what I remember, which is ironically where they actually decided to flesh it out a bit in a way that basically became the standard for sparks in lore, rather than just a loose term for "soul".
For instance, there's this guy named X, or "rampage". His whole deal is he's literally immortal (but can still feel pain) as a result of some experiment shit, and Megatron gets him to work for him by literally ripping part of his soul out from his body and putting it in a torture cage

Things like this seem to be the mind/body disconnect trans people tend to follow. Maybe there's no god, but the way they conceptualize things is that bodies and body parts are or SHOULD be interchangeable and customizable. The trans "biologist" Julia Serano (marine crustaceans specialist) proposed that the body can be split into different parts, which included chromosome and a "subconscious sex" that has no evidence other than he's trans and he feels it, it must be something that's totally there. Mind and body intergration can be hard to comprehend, but boiling it down to our bodies being customizable shells is hard wishful thinking.

Please remind the thread about the fan debates between "spark sex" and "sticky sex." I did it once but all my Transformers fandom knowledge is second-hand and I'm sure I missed something.

I just took it as "the bodies are either assembled or form out of nothing. Like yeah they have romance with each other and whatever but that's not tied to fucking. Also "spark sex" sounds like someone took the stuff where Primal and Megatron briefly mingled their own sparks with Optimus Prime and Megatron's respectively to gain a bit more power as a sex thing.

The marvel comics had stuff like "budding" which was even in there seen as a rare/unusual phenomenon that happened sometimes. Basically to describe "budding", you're just chilling and another guy just kinda bursts out of your back screaming till he forms into something coherent.

Anyways, the "casted/forged" thing is specifically the manufactured body term of birth from what I remember which makes the tranny arcee quote there even more funny to me. Damn that's one really genetically female looking "male body". So like how does this affect characters that have female versions in some continuities, or are we supposed to just ignore that because it's inconvenient to making troons feel "represented"?

It's a bit inconsistent because different writing teams over the years EVEN in g1 (which was much different in some parts in the comics compared to the cartoon) but eventually all of these kind of worked themselves into a kind of kinda consistent-ish lore that's still weird.

There's also a wiki page that lists pretty much every one. It has a bit that says "sexual reproduction" but the stuff it talks about is weirdly about characters having "parents" despite them not knowing what sex is.

People have been doing that for years, it's nothing new. Arcee is a classic Smurfette, a token chick in a cartoon directed at boys so that one of the male leads can have a romance subplot. From what little I know about Transformers, the lore is comically contrived and over-complicated because they had to reverse-engineer an explanation for why a bunch of aliens were playing dress-up as muscle cars. Little kids like robots and cars, so they made a toy that functions as both. It's not that deep, but the writers had to inject a bunch of cumbersome backstory into it to keep the overgrown manchildren who buy the comic books invested.
