If people are jacking off and posting porn on a porn website like rule34, then that’s not really a big issue. The problem with the Ultrakill community is that they do it on websites that are not appropriate like Xitter or Reddit, I honestly do not know why Reddit has a NSFW tag, it should be removed.

Seeing that you’ve requested staff to move your thread I recommend archiving videos and tweets because (as far as I’m aware) you haven’t archived the videos and tweets you’ve mentioned, read Null’s archival tools and use PreserveTube if you can’t post archived videos on the OP.

The only other fandom subreddit I have seen that allows porn is the fucking incest game that was popular a little while back. Why the fuck is there porn on your killer robot game subreddit. Every major community has a level of tranny faggots and degens, some more than others, and tf2 definitely has a lot of troony coomers, but other parts of the community aren't so insufferable and like saying nigger and faggot (gamebanana is a bad example because it's riddled with coomers from what I remember, every time I looked up a mod there I was bombarded with porn sprays on the front page)

I tend to believe that fashion repeats itself every 30 years: synthwave and pixelated games were popular in 2010s, rave culture and low poly 3D games have exploded in the early 2020s. Unfortunately, these retrospectives are usually being curated either by oldfarts who back then didn't get what truly defined this aesthetic, or young and impressionable kids that didn't even live through that era to experience it in the first place. Not that I'm mad at a certain demographic of people for their mutual flaws, but I'm particularly frustrated with how the zoomers caught on with this Y2K trend and perverted it with their own vision of what it is, while literally adding nothing new or original to it. This is just the recycling of 30-year-old ideas under a different label. I've talked to a few relatively young people that were into this kind of aesthetic, which I've got a yearning soft spot for myself, in a few creative Discord groups and in person at a few electronic music gigs: their overall grasp on Y2K sounded superficial at most. Everything that they cherish about the late 90s and early 2000s is mostly limited to The Designers Republic design code from Wipeout and Warp Records, old Windows UIs and overly-pretentious electronic music. I bet none of them even knows what a Zip drive is.

I've always liked the low-poly style of the NDS, and it's not even for nostalgic reasons since I loved it since I was a kid and I wished other games looked like it, but a lot of these indie games with le retro 3d aesthetic seem to be a bit aimless, unsure wether its N64, PSX, NDS or even PS2 or whatever the fuck, it just feels like they choose the low-poly look because it's easy to model and that's it, no real passion in the visuals themselves or in accurately replicating them
UK in particular is very inconsistent with it's graphics, the textures vary between low-res pixelated looks and more blurry messes, some models look very blocky and low-poly while others look ridiculously detailed and curvy in comparison, overall it gives off the feel of amateur modelling rather than retro 3D. Compare that to something like Cuphead which puts insane effort and detail in accurately replicating it's old cartoon visuals because the devs have actual passion for it, not because it's easy to animate or draw (quite the contrary)
On the bright side the devs are giving the entire game a visual overhaul right now, I've seen the teaser videos and the levels definitely look a lot better, it seems to be aiming for more of a PS2 style now (several months ago they stated they wouldn't release the next levels until next year maybe, so they've been doing this in the meantime as well as some changes in enemy AI, yeah they might just be delaying the development on purpose at this point)

I will admit I actually like this game. I like New Blood and own all of their games (I got Ultrakill on steam day 1), and I am one who normally isn't phased by fanbases because I just ignore them and focus on the vidya in front of me.
But my god, this one is one of the most disgusting, embarrassing and insufferable fanbases I've sadly had to be associated with. Same shitty jokes day in, day out. Nothing original or thought provoking other then SEX WITH ROBOT or TRANS RIGHTS!!1!1!!
Every time I think about this fanbase, I am reminded of this steam guide in which the author reaches his breaking point with this cancerous and unfunny fanbase, saying it how it is.

Besides this particular thread being a massive honeypot for people in the sharty containment thread, I will root for you to have it moved out of PG. It's been said before, but nobody has had ANY good interactions with Ultrakill fans. I guess I lucked out, I've got a friend who loves this game and they're not an insufferable cunt like everybody else I've been exposed to that basically "stans" it.
My only criticism of the OP is that this is not Encyclopedia Dramatica, you can tone down the "LOOK ITS A TROON DEGENERATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LAUGH AT MY OP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" writing. We're not retards without any reading comprehension here nor do we need an excessive pointing of the obvious like that retarded site. I'd suggest a bit of a rewrite and using more popular threads from newbies to it like @Admiral Throbnelius 's just to give an example. If you stay at least a little bit objective, you can give far more information that constantly trying way too hard to be funny.
Overall, for a first OP, it ain't bad, still got substance to it and I quite liked it. I'd post the "Personal army request approved" meme but it's rather late and I can't be arsed.
