I don’t understand why David made his accounts public if he wasn’t looking to attract attention. I do think at some point he’s just going to create new accounts or hop onto another website unless he gets publicly identified.

I've the theory that David no longer goes outside in his SSB9 look and maybe, just maybe, the footage of him isn't recent. He was doxed through a playground in Doncaster but we have established compelling evidence he hasn't been there in a while and most of the rest of the footage of him in character is indoors, chances are even those are from back when. Would explain why people are getting lost on Doncaster rather than focusing on the massive trail he has down south and why he doesn't look as old as he is supposed to mask aside.

Thinking that he 'retired' from doing this in public after peaking in activity several years before most people had access to decent cameras makes me wonder if we are just looking at a literal old man watching his twisted memory book. That's probably why we aren't coming any closer to having anything concrete, this guy seems functional enough to hold grudges so he probably understood a while ago that if he keeps a low enough profile the law can't touch him.

What I saw is that each of the accounts followed dozens upon dozens of actual, real children. Imo, this is not a harmless old fool bumbling around in Eddie Munster drag. This appears to be serious predator with a game plan. I shudder at the thought of him having contact with real children...

Some people on Reddit have speculated that one of the girls used in SSB9's collage-like pictures is Leanne Tierman, a 16-year old girl who was murdered in West Yorkshire and had sightings in Doncaster. Her picture on her Wikipedia page that was taken around 1988 wears a very similar uniform to the ones SSB9 edits into his photos.

It says that Leanne Tierman had black boots with her that weren't found when her body was discovered. Her murderer is definitely not SSB9 since he was caught in 2001-2002. But it's likely that SSB9 used her murder for inspiration behind some of his posts. Take this with a grain of salt, though.
