Most cities in Western Europe will have a gay club or two, but they're generally quite discrete. Larger cities will have the prerequisite faggot districts but even there the activities occur indoors.

I do understand why they market the healthcare to Americans, because fear of random medical bullshit bankrupting your whole family is a uniquely American phenomena. That said, they will generally ignore a lot of the nuance on how each country does their thing and most importantly, the fact there's a healthy private medical industry here as well. While the money isn't as good as it would be compared to the states, the job still is prestigious and the money is still very good. The education isn't expensive either, since most governments operate their own medical schools specifically because that is how the demand of the public sector can be satisfied.

Brits do treat NHS like it's a sacred thing for some unfathomable reason, even when it's in dire need of reformation and funding. It is a very recent thing that as far as I can tell, started out as a thing to be smug about at Americans but now they can't retain doctors because every other country in the Commonwealth pays better and has a lighter workload. That said, the rest of Europe has a healthy relationship with their public health systems.

They genuinely do believe that America is intentionally sending just not enough equipment for Ukraine to somehow pull a magical win out of their ass.
