Current law requires a 6 months waiting period after filing an asylum claim before you can apply for a work permit. Under this bill, applicants are granted an IMMEDIATE work permit if they pass the initial asylum credible fear screening.

So, if passed and illegal immigration reached levels where the cutoffs were imposed then it would only be in effect for 270 days in 2024. Such, if illegal immigration spiked in late February 2024 the bills restrictions on immigration would end roughly around election day at which point, said restrictions could not be used for the rest of the year. In 2025, the restrictions are rolled back significantly to where they can only be in effect for 225 days with 2026 only allowing for 180 days of restrictions which would be the final year of restrictions.

In summary, the illegals would just camp out until the restricted days end then flood the border. Hell, the bill was designed to remove immigration as an issue in 2024 the rapidly open the throttles afterwards. Worse, these fake asylum seekers would be able to get jobs thereby lowing the wage floor for lower skilled workers.

Found a video of him with his facecam on from 2022.

He might have changed in appearance since then but it appears he's a teenager or in his early 20s. Guy used to be heavily focused on Persona 4 videos before moving on to Steven Universe videos and now it looks like he's moving on to Breadtube styled videos since the Steven Universe videos haven't given him the viewership he has wanted and since he already has shown to want that kind of audience this is what he's moving on to.

You're overthinking it. Women are not guaranteed to feel any type of positive bond or nurturing instinct after birthing a child, it's not magic. If it were, it wouldn't be so insanely common throughout history for women to give birth alone, suffocate it, and dispose of it in a dumpster or something without telling anyone (and I'm side-eyeing a lot of "SIDS" cases too). Abortion procedures are bad, but childbirth is infinitely more disgusting, brutal, painful, potentially traumatic, and likely to result in permanent physical disfigurement (for the woman, not the fetus, obviously) - nobody needs to push abortion all that hard, most women naturally would rather not endure the experience of childbirth if they don't have a strong personal motivation to (i.e. wanting the child).

American adoptions used to happen in much higher numbers because in previous eras single pregnant women would be sent away by their families to conceal the pregnancy, have the baby taken away by nuns or social workers and adopted out due to lack of realistic alternative options, and everyone pretended it didn't happen. That era is behind us, for better or worse. The only way I could see women willing to birth babies to adopt out as desirable healthy newborns in any real numbers now is if they saw a large cut of the massive fees adoption agencies soak potential adoptive parents for to "help" them, but there is a good reason why that is illegal. Enough really sketchy shit goes on with American adoption agencies/system as it is, birth mothers getting paid would quickly devolve into an outright human trafficking situation that would almost definitely be far worse.

Anyway, I actually came here to ask if anyone has read Trump's new book yet? And if so, is it worth a look? I might see if I can find it on libgen or something and read it tomorrow (lmao I'm not paying Trump/Amazon $92) but I'll post summaries or anything notable here if anybody cares.
