Patrick Sean Tomlinson / @stealthygeek / "Torque Wheeler" / @RealAutomanic / Kempesh / Padawan v2.5 - "Conservative" sci-fi author with TDS, armed "drunk with anger management issues" and terminated parental rights, actual tough guy, obese, paid Quasi, paid thousands to be repeatedly unbanned from Twitter

Fun fact YouTube API forces a log in prompt if you're using certain VPNs. After I watched it once, second time around Mullvad Zurich was blacklisted. Video is getting flagged by bots behind Mullvad VPN from looks of it

DSP is beyond pissed, no amount gin and tonic will soothe that pain.

How can something so based also be packed with so much soy?
Because being completely owned by people who would agree with him on nearly everything if he weren't such a complete asshole cocksucker is way more funny than being dunked on by NAWTSEES.

His usual audience, such as it is, would tend to take his side because it's evil people like OnA and us who mock him.

When his own soy brigade is shitting on him, and everyone else is realizing this FUCKING WHITE MALE is actually a piece of shit, and doesn't get a troon pass or a pussy pass or any other kind of pass, things get hilarious.

I'm kind of surprised that Keene didn't mention the lawsuit against the MPD.
People who know more about law: is it because commenting on pending litigation would put him at risk of being sued for tortious interference or something along those lines?
Keene used to have podcast that got him lots of threatened lawsuits, so I'm pretty sure he runs a lot of his stuff by lawyers before he posts it.
The lawsuit muddies the water and makes Rick a bit more sympathetic - people find it hard to believe someone could sue the Internet and fail so hard they paid someone $84k for the privilege.

And mentioning it is a bit like betting on the river in poker; you’re much better off betting on your sure thing; especially after the flop gave you a royal flush - why bother doing a side bet on a pair of kings?

This is excellent. I bet Fatrick feels that the walls around him are crumbling now that even the most prominent and liberal writers who thought he was some victim of an alt-right bullying scheme know what he is all about. I mean this guy is as liberal as they come and Rick repulsed him enough to conclude that Rick is a victim but one that asked for it and deserves it.

I read a couple Brian Keene books years ago and they were pretty alright given I still remember the one about the rape demon.
Dark Hollow? I loved his books when I was in high school, and I find lots of scenes and concepts in his writing compelling. He now strikes me as one of those horror authors with borderline hypergraphia who broke through because they wrote about zombies in the late 2000s. His writing is not great.

Rick being made persona non grata from his sad little corner in the sci-fi literary community with a certain finality is a good start to the week. Lots of Jackie energy coming from him lately; he's pulling out all the buzzwords.

Enjoy alienation.

You can say that about a lot of these new writers that are in their 40's and 50's. They're passable. Like Bracker's Stranded novel has been done countless times before but it's an okay read if you don't want to go back to one of your tried and true novels for a re-read.

Don't wish that evil on us.
Vienna has enough problems without the horrendous pig-man fatly oinking around, trying to start a nuclear holocaust.
If you send Patrick to Vienna you can finally have that Taylor Swift concert. No way Muslims would attack the place with such a large pig nearby.
Imagine the beating Niki is going to take over this
Patrick got taken down by a small police woman, no way he'd be able to beat his wife. It's more likely she beats him with a phonebook.

I haven't read any of Brian Keene's books, but I hope that they're a little more well-written than this blog post. This guy is repeating himself a lot, a lot a lot. And he doesn't seem to have any devices for expressing dichotomy apart from "there's this, but then there's that. Next sentence. His name was Charles, but his name was Lance." The further I read, the more trouble I had taking the piece seriously.

I suppose it is fitting. Hammering home repeated incantations is a key tenet of Pigguism and Funstianity alike.

At any rate, ribs for this line:

I couldn’t get past the first paragraph:

Sorry, I don’t have the capacity for another midwit author. There can be only one Patrick. S. Tomlinson.
