Is there any game with a similar premise to Katawa Shoujo?

I remember that there were some people talking about making a spiritual successor to it, but Idk if it ever got off the ground or not.
Maybe Everlasting Summer? I know that one and KS get compared, but mainly cause ES was made with people on Russian imageboards.

The video is so compressed that I find it unreal for it to be watchable
Nanaya is rad. I'm not gonna dispute that. But, there's something entrancing about Ryougi's attack Animations and it's why I devote myself to a low-mid tier character.

I play Aoko in TL. So, it's not like I'm any kind of low-tier hero either. I just play the characters that stand out to me.

They both have high-schoolers and were made by an imageboard. Other than that, they really aren't all that similar, as the ES girls are mostly normal people in an (for us) unorthodox setting, while the KS girls are weird people in a familiar setting.

But if you did boy scout things, wanted to do boy scout things, or simply like those slavs being slavs, I recommend it.

Same, Ryougi feels somewhat slow for my tastes, as C-Nanaya is far more fluid with his movements, but I understand why people would like Ryougi

Found this which sums up F/SN's launch yesterday. Pretty kek.

Well Hollow Ataraxia finally is getting a official translation. Hopefully the launch is far less bungled than F/SN Remastered.

Side note on the official translation for F/SN Remastered. Actually really good. I'm 100 minutes in as of last night. As far as I can tell, just going by feel, nothing changed much between the fan translation and this new official one. It seems Nasu had his hands on the steering wheel during the translation process.

Type-Moonfags are finally getting to experience the buggy mess that is the AGES 2.0 engine.
Shiki has obviously been here and pulled a prank by cutting the continuity of the remaster. Which Shiki? Your guess is as good as mine.

Once they got the fix patch out its been really solid. I have 12.5 hours in now, and its running REALLY well. Some people on the steam boards are reporting issues with headphones, but I consider that the issue with trying to port sound that was last updated in the vita port to 7:1 sound headphones. I personally have had zero issues with sound, both on headphones and on speakers.

Diogenes throws a brick through your living room window and somersaults through it. He presents this picture and says "behold, a Shiki"

Would anyone recommend Chaos;Child if I thought Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0 deserved to the on the Mount Rushmore of VNs but thought Chaos;Head Noah was a 6/10 at best?

I didn't necessarily have any problems with the protagonist like most people seem to mention, but it just felt like none of the characters had room to be developed and things just kinda happened.

If Child is better than Noah but not Steins:Gate that's also totally fine. I just want to avoid a situation where I got memed into playing Ever17 and thought it was boring as hell because I was playing something that was new and unique at the time but had been done far better by so many others since then that it wasn't worth experiencing to appreciate on its own.

Child is on par with Head, I'd say. Lots of references to previous titles (like the whole story building off an earthquake caused by Takumi destroying Noah II or one of recurring characters being Kurisu's apprentice), and the MC is less whiny and more social, albeit behaving like a redditor. Also goes even harder into the gore and paranoia territory. Character routes and development is present from the start, unlike C;H which only introduced them in rerelease. Sadly, it also has an absolute downer of a true ending (everything taking place in regular routes has been a simulation, MC manages to free people out of it but has to serve a life sentence because of his savior complex).

Generally I'd describe Child as a mixed bag with how it continues the Sci-Adv tradition of having mediocre at best sequels. Without getting into spoilers and general spergery (because holy shit this VN pissed me off) I can only recommend playing the common route and maybe Nono's route since everything after that is either a complete waste of your time or offensively terrible.

No its another forced meme with a nothingburger of a story that doesn't go anywhere with zero character development. Just like "Wonderful Everyday." There's a reason why chaos;head noah wasn't translated until a few years ago. It sucks and has no real story to begin with!

The writing has nothing to do with the nonsense engrish title either.
Stein's gate has the concept of the stein's gate as a time travel plot device. Meanwhile there is no real chaos and no characters named Noah in that VN.
Hell even Danganronpa V3's autistic title explanation made a hell of a lot more sense than whatever random rambling the "Chaos:" VN's are about.

Just finished reading Stella of The End, was probably the best VN I read this year if not longer. Absolutely perfect length for its plot, good voicework, excellent writing (probably the best outlook into technology/AI that isn't stock tropes) with a protagonist that is both likable and logical, no moralfagging, and a good tone that doesn't go too dark but takes itself seriously with occasional moments of levity. I even shed a few tears at the end.

I can't recommend this enough, after Key fumbled Loopers they released this masterpiece without any ads and it's such a fucking shame.

Haven't played a visual novel in quite sometimes, but thought you guys might find this funny.

I read the Tsukihime Remake, at least what's available so far.
Arcueid's route is more or less the same. Will say the added voice acting and scenes really helped sell the romance. Shiki and her voice actors go all the way.
Ciel's route is...better than it was. Her romance is still shit. She really doesn't sound like she genuinely loves Shiki. There's no romantic/sexual tension between them. Shiki never gets fed up with her shit the way he does with Arcueid. Hell, he still has more chemistry with her than Ciel in her own damn route. That's just embarrassing. The scene where Ciel is following Shiki and they're bantering was really good, but it wasn't really romantic, like most of their relationship: making the occasional playful jab, having lunch together with your social circle, and helping each other out is what friends do. Arcueid demands things of Shiki and he obliges despite being capable of murdering her whenever he wants during the day because he's got a boner for her, which she eventually realizes herself. Ciel friendzoned herself.
As for the major story/lore changes.
Idea Blood/Principles or whatever are a very interesting element to add to Tsukihime's continuity. They're not like noble phantasms, at least not yet. Adds to the separation of Dead Apostles and True Ancestors who operate on different levels and principles of absolute broken bullshit. Have no idea why a DAA is the Tohno family nurse but okay, I guess. Red Garden better not fucking suck.

Vlov is alright. I can understand not wanting to be rid of Nrvnqsr. The thing is he just ended up wasting Vlov if he doesn't play a major role in the far side routes. He feels incomplete. Very interesting idea.

I love Noel. She is an absolute broken mess of a fucking person. Turning her into Ciel Route's midboss was a bit weird. I heard Nasu had plans of adding a way to save her but eh. Just rumors. Tsukihime needed one or two more side-characters.

Mario's alright. As with everything else, he needs a bit more expansion in hopefully the far side routes. He's a reverse-aging old ass man who somehow holds the most power in the church and knows Arcueid personally before she had a personality. Need to know way more about that. Plus, his abilities are weird and I like them.

Arcueid turning into a giant light monster was not something I was expecting. She was awfully adorable trying to act like she didn't care about Shiki while doing literally everything to make him feel bad for rejecting her. Fucking reality to the ridiculous degree she did was easily beyond most Nasuverse shit. And it'll probably never happen again, which begs the question as to why. Didn't feel necessary and was over the top but eh.
they got rid of the porn, as if anyone didn't see that coming
at least they didn't replace the sex scenes with ridiculous "erotic" blood sucking this time
