Keep the kids infantilized until(and into) adulthood so they can play the part of parent sure is a terrifying path we're on. How many young adults don't know how to care for themselves and can't be bothered to look into how to say cook, and instead cry to mommy for help.
The only way to get an adult child to learn how to do shit is to kick them out of the house. You don't have to cut them out of your life, but they have to become responsible for themselves.

They have to learn what it is to get a job and have enough for a shitty apartment. They might need to learn how to cohabitate with friends or a girlfriend to afford a nicer place. If they don't cook, they won't eat.

Self-reliance is something you learn in the absence of other choices, and once learned it is freeing.

Tablet Magazine:

"Many people believe the changes to our voting laws and practices began in 2020 with COVID. But as ArminRosen reports today, the pandemic panic was an opportunity for activists and lawyers to accelerate changes to America that were already in the works"

"In California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Nevada, it is now possible to vote in person without any form of identification. In Michigan, you can vote without a photo ID, as long as you sign an affidavit saying you don’t have one. Most Americans no longer have to physically show up at a polling place to vote. Instead they have the choice of filling out and submitting their ballots beyond the observation of election officials, which means there is no assurance that the people in whose names ballots are cast actually signed—or saw—their ballots, voted free of duress or the promise of some benefit, or are even still alive.

In the 2020 election, more than two-thirds of voters exercised their franchise by mail or before election day—meaning that election day itself was a mass civic formality, rather than the deciding event of a long campaign.

The same is likely to be true this year. At least 20 states now open the voting more than three weeks before the campaign ends. Fifty days before an election, Pennsylvania begins holding “in-person absentee” voting, where a ballot can be filled out and submitted in a location that does not have poll watchers present or any of the privacy safeguards of a normal polling station. 36 states, including every 2024 swing state, now either have all-mail elections in which a ballot is automatically sent to every registered voter, or no-excuse absentee voting in which any voter can ask to vote by mail for any reason."

"But even before this, in a sweeping move toward increasing the federal government’s control over elections, the outgoing Obama administration declared in January of 2017 that election systems were “critical national infrastructure,” joining a list that included banking and sewage systems and giving the Department of Homeland Security broad new oversight responsibilities. The Trump administration didn’t reverse the decision, though it could have. Is there a stealth revolution in American voting practices underway--and why does it feel like mistrust is being built into the system?"

"On Tuesday, The Tennessee Star and Editor-in-Chief Michael Patrick Leahy released 90 pages of writings left by Covenant School killer Audrey Elizabeth Hale."

This is great and all but self reliance is overrated concept that jeopardizes our families and youth. Family units with offsprings that builds on generational wealth will always outperform one individual. That's why it's so imperative for Democrats and childless cat ladies to destroy family units. It evens out the competitive playing field for the idiots who cannot reconcile with their family members and work to build wealth together.

For instance I didn't have to pay rent until I bought two properties under my name. I took over the family house mortgage and refinanced it to buy more houses. I could have never achieved this by living alone

The problem with youth today is that they are not contributing to the family unit because, fuck, millenial and baby boomer faggots will never pass on their wealth to their kids.

Seriously though, and I say this as a Gen Xer, I really feel that Gen X is the first generation to really hit the infantilization machine hard

Gen X is the first generation to have a childhood that was so fun that adulthood seemed pretty lame by comparison. Atari games, Star Wars toys, comic books targeted at teenagers rather than little kids (e.g. X-Men), etc...I think that's when the manchild phenomenon really took off.

You fucked up your community happenings post by putting an unrelated news story over the thing people are actually clicking for. It could do with it's own thread or the news article moving to another post. It's burying the actual content people are clicking for.
I was able to figure it out all by myself because I am not a gigantic retard.

If they do it it's going to be a week before the election, just enough time for the shock to permeate through but not long enough for the shock to wear off or have Kamalah in charge long enough to actually do anything.
50% chance it backfires because either they underestimate how much people hate Biden, or because they fuck up and everyone knows that they did it on purpose.

A decade ago I would agree, however early voting starts ridiculously early. They can't delay too much past the start of October. That goes for anyone else's planned October Surprise, too. The Hunter Biden laptop gambit of 2020 was handled the worst possible way, even before accounting for the feds having Zuck supressing it.

There is just something about foreign news media talking about American politics that annoys me to no end. It doesn't matter what side they are on or what country they are from, a shill journalist is still a shill journalist and deserve the rope.

Why does the penis have a furry base? Did her inner white woman break through?
I think it is supposed to be the balls.

I'm only on page 10 as of writing, currently it's just seems a lot like teenage girl's woe is me diary shit, even though she was 28, but holy shit I was not prepared for this absolute banger of a sentence on page 10.

If that's not random.txt material, I don't know what is.
