We tried a lot of different things to clear out the Vietnamese jungles, from napalm to WP. Agent Orange was quite literally our last resort since it was too wet for any of those incendiaries to do the job. But in a place that isn't a literal tropical jungle a few cans of thermite will do the job just fine.
Considering how things have worked out with previous weapons systems I'm guessing a few are already in Ukraine and they're just working out the kinks on doctrine and deployment.
