In extreme bouts of depression, sometimes the feeling can turn into rage. Feeling like you've been done wrong by the people you're around is a really awful thing that does happen (it's happened to me before) and if the problem isn't nipped in the bud soon enough then it can worsen and turn into extreme outbursts, which show themselves differently in different people.

I can't remember where I read it, but it was an article about the aftermath of Sandy Hook which described how the parents all had to wait in a gym or similar to get their kids, and at the end of the day, the ones left were informed that their children were dead. The article said that the screaming could be heard down the block.

Really sucks that this keeps happening. At least it's not more kids, but still- for at least four families this is the worst day of their lives.

No, I'm not talking the type of retards who kill his family/Wife and then himself. Males should only kill themselves instead of PHYSICALLY hurting the people around them. The men who kill their entire families and then themselves aren't victims of anything. If Colt had simply placed that gun in his mouth and saved us some time, maybe mental health services could be a cause but turning his school into a shooting range makes him a bastard and waste of resources. As for the school shooter whose parents did go to jail- part of the reason they went was the school repeatedly told them their son was a psycho, come and take him home and get him a shrink, and they refused. It's not that they were just general, negligent parents. They actively refused to do anything about their son, even when offered resources. They didn't allow the security guard to check his backpack, they wouldn't take him home for the afternoon. Just called the teachers a bunch of libtards and walked out.

Considering schools can troon your kid out, I'm not comfortable with legally compelling parents to do anything like therapy. But if I were one of the parents of the kids their son killed, I'd want prison time.
