No, because the state is arguing that they can't take his name off the ballot due to the logistical issues of reprinting them on short notice. Even if RFK murders a man and dies in the resulting high speed police pursuit by crashing into a preschool, his name will still be on the ballot.

Realistically the state can make it happen, but they want the Trump spoiler on there.

The delayed sentencing tells me two things:

1) their internals must be catastrophic

2) they will try to take T-Bone out again, so he needs to hop around and fly on any and all planes other than Trump Force One. Do a Big Don's limo convoy instead. Don't also think they're above just poisoning all food at all McDonald's in a 20 mile radius of every location he visits just to finish the job, no one is safe, it's for democracy.

I think the delayed sentencing is pretty straightforward. The whole trial did nothing to affect his poll numbers and independents had enough of a negative reaction to the whole thing that Democrat shot-callers don't want to take the risk.

The case will absolutely reach the Supreme Court and it will be a unanimous decision forced down by Roberts, with Ketanji Brown Jackson, Sonia Sotomayor, and Elena Kagan writing an Orange Man Bad™ footnote.

I know many Democrat voters want to see Trump put in jail, but I would be shocked if top leadership actually wants that. There is no way Trump is jailed over such a bullshit case and it doesn't lead to civil conflict of some kind.

Honestly, that's about where I am at this point. They can't jail him without sparking a LOT of protesting from the Right. While I doubt it would be as "fiery" as the summer of love protests, they'd still probably spin it as a bad thing. They're in too deep now to just say, "fuck it, it was bullshit" and give up due to the rabid nature of the Left now. Fuck, I can't wait until this election is over.

There are more ridiculous cases, to be fair, but this one will undoubtedly go down in history as the closest the US legal system ever got to banana republic shit. The case against Trump isn't even complete - the indictment accused Trump of concealing or committing another crime that isn't even specified in the indictment.

Judge John Wilson testified before the House Judiciary Committee and explained everything in 5 minutes flat.

To be very frank, Trump's case in Fulton County, GA was far more substantive than this NY case. Trump was in deep shit there, legally speaking. However, Fani Willis (a Soros-funded DA) and her office turned out to be an utter fucking disaster zone. Instead of backing competent prosecutors, Democrats instead backed ones who would say the shibboleths - to their own massive detriment.

I would say Trump got really fucking lucky, but the wages of DEI and rejecting merit are failure.

Karen Dunn (Google antitrust attorney) is training Kamala to debate on policy and not Trump. If what I know is correct then her stance will be one of “take your medicine” to accept the hard truths which Harris will paint over as temporary in conveyance towards an optimistic Joyful™ future. She is being told to duck and weave Trump by talking without speaking. It will be a targeted debate like 2020 Wallace with moderators doing what they can to give Trump a death by a thousand cuts for Kamala to blowhard about.

However the Trump team knows this and has multiple contingency strategies. He’s been talking over game plan since the DNC, Trump knows Kamala will stonewall and flap in the wind. He also knows how vitriolic Kamala is. His best opportunity to flip the script into an aggressive attack on Kamala’s political perceptions is to be a l33t troll and bait the Hellish tendencies out of her. The moment she brings up “defending democracy” by judicial persecution funded with superpac backroom dealings, it’s Joever. Trump has hard evidence and paper trails equivalent to the 2016 Clinton email leaks.

It’ll be a fake and gay debate with Trump playing cool and waiting to speak, there will be no I’m speaking moment. The fun part is when Kamala gets cocky and fucks up 10 minutes in. Trump may even get his own “I’m speaking Kamala” to rub salt in the wound.
