BeigeFrequency is a youtuber I've liked since I first watched his videos on Anthony Cumia and Jason Genova several years ago. However, his videos have become more boring and about less interesting and funny subject matter like MMA and reviewing standup. His most recent standup review was of the new Joe Rogan special, where he complains that Joe Rogan is not only a lazy hack but specifically says that he is obsessed with trans people and transphobic.
I guess I was unaware up until this point that Beige has the opinions of an annoying TRA, but earlier posts in this thread indicate he was sperging about this on twitter for at least a year or two. This is interesting considering he's mostly covered more masculine topics related to MMA and weight-lifting culture or shock-jock comedy, and he's signaled more rightward in the past when defending Dave Chapelle and criticizing Amy Schumer.
However, he never actually came across as slanted either way back then, and maintained an effective tone of neutrality. He would make jokes in every direction but they were clearly meant as jokes, kind of like the stuff Porsalin does. The latest video, however, I didn't even finish because he was just repeating himself sperging about how transphobic Joe Rogan is and how if you don't find it problematic then you're just like a feminist who defends Amy Schumer. It really came across that he believed Joe's set wasn't unfunny and transphobic, but unfunny because it was transphobic. In fact, he's made a few posts in his comment section arguing with viewers who disagree with his point of view.
A shame to see a creator who made really good videos let political sperging ruin his content, really caught me off guard. Its very petty and facetious to claim that if you don't want to suck the tranny dick you must be saying Joe's set was funny, which just shows how thin-skinned he is about this issue. I cannot help but speculate if he may have certain sus procilvities . . .
Edit: Speculation not required, he flirts with trannies on twitter. That explains everything lol, and now its starting to leak off of twitter and into his content
