I enjoyed DBZA back in the day but they peaked during namek and I hate the fact that these Niggers turned what where memes poking fun at the admittedly some times dumb writing of Toriyama in to hard fact in the mind of their fans, like the Goku is a bad father thing Toriyama clearly tried to portray him as a carring, loving father that loves his children and wife its why Gohan respects him and Chi Chi loves him, Toriyama just fucked it up resulting in some unfortunate implication that make it look like Goku is a terible father but DBZA portrayed Goku as a literall retard that has no love for his kids of wife (Super did this to and I hate them for it) people tooke this as hard fact and ran withe it parroting it if any discusion of Dragonball comes up.
The portrayal of Goku being a terrible father isn't even born out of humor, unlike the first iteration of this meme which was simply Piccolo being called Gohan's real father during his formative years. Despite being some of the most obsessive fans around, TFS somehow managed to forget that
Goku was dead for the first half of the saiyan saga and that he could not travel with Gohan to Namek because he had to wait on a new set of senzu beans to grow in order to get out of that hospital bed.
These retards also forget that the two spent three years training together in preparation for the androids and then nearly a year in isolation together for Cell, which accounts for all of Gohan's formative years. Goku pays attention to Gohan's interests and goals in life, it's why he reminds him that he wants to be a great scientist one day to motivate him to kick Cell's ass. His only shortcoming as a father is just plain not understanding that Gohan sees fighting as a last resort and has to be furious in order to get motivated, something that is understandable when all of the Z fighters have seen the kid flip his lid and start slapping villains around before.
It's important to also note that Gohan was stronger than Cell the moment he stepped out of the time chamber, which is evidenced by him stating that it looked like Goku and Cell were holding back during their fight. Goku did not throw his son into the lion's den, he knew what he was capable of because he sparred against him almost every day for a year.
(Super did this to and I hate them for it)
People forget that Toriyama's first obligation to the series was writing the movies, which is why the tempo for those four are much more even despite the several years gap between each entry. When he said in an interview that he just gave a rough outline for where Super should go, he meant that because he was already busy: hell, he was formulating the details for Superhero while still working on Broly, and any creative type can tell you how taxing it can be to have a burst of inspiration while in the midst of another project. Lets not forget his obligations to the Dragon Quest games either, as XI needed a full set of new characters and monster designs that only he could create and the development time for the game was right when Super was getting off the ground. Dragon Quest X is an MMO and always gets new content every year so he's tied up in that as well, along with doing the art for the 3DS DQM games at the same time.
For a man who was often ridiculed for being lazy and forgetful, he kept a tight schedule and did not have the time to slap toei staffers around when they fucked up and wrote the most flanderized iteration of the series.
Just watch HFIL for an example of everything wrong withe the writing of TFS its got a few funny moments but is completely forgettable relying on in joke references and one dimensional characters or simplye put its Dragonball themed Family guy.
It's TFS without existing material to lean on, nothing to tweak or modify and it comes off as bland sitcom humor that not even the dullest boomer would laugh at. All those years of "writing" dbza and they still can't string together a fucking joke.
Kaiser has a burning hatred for the Buu saga, because that was more return to norm of OG Dragonball and less serious like the Cell Saga was.
He's not a Dragonball fan, he's a toonami fan that skipped over the formative material that made the series a worldwide juggernaut in the first place. Toriyama himself found this type of fight autist to be his most aggravating fans because they only wanted endless tournament arcs instead of fun adventures that could challenge him as an artist.
