Greta at the end of 2014 owed his ex a bunch of money, either in child support or from the divorce. He went out of his way to spend what he had to keep from paying the ex.

Does that explain things, no, but Greta does have a history of trying to skirt the law because he feels he's above that shit.

IIRC, Greta even made a post about the ex which suggested they're not on good terms.

He never mentions seeing either his son or his daughter. Granted, the daughter was adopted but she was supposedly adopted by Greta's parents.

Nina's name is on the foundation documents which were lodged with both the IRS and the AG. Her name was also on the Cupcake systems documents, along with Greta's and Christina's. Her lack of citizenship doesn't seem to be an issue in this respect.
