I'm sure it can be argued that only someone totally fucked in the head would put on hundreds of pounds for monetary gain but Nick has always come across to me as pretty smart and well spoken, and he has a great grasp on what the internet wants to see. He has somehow remained relevant for a substantial amount of time despite playing such an extreme character and doing the same ridiculous content over and over. Being able to maintain that relevancy and stir up controversy while uploading a prerecorded backlog for 2 years with the intention of popping back up skinny proves he knows what he's doing.

Say what you want about Nick but you gotta respect someone with this unbeatable level of commitment to the bit. He became a millionaire fucking up his physical and mental health while the rest of us do it for a few bucks an hour, if not just for fun on the weekends. The repeated hypothesis of ozempic or serious illness on this thread are such transparent cope. Congrats to him for losing the weight.
I don't believe that he purposely gained weight. I was aware of him back when he was still a slender vegan and used to watch his videos on occasion. A lot of people think he started out slender, but he mentioned in one of his earlier videos that he actually used to be quite overweight when he was younger, but slimmed down after becoming a vegan.

He started gaining weight again after he quit veganism, and while many people swear by high protein diets that feature meat and dairy food for weight loss, it seemed that being a strict vegan gave Nick the structure he had needed to become slim and stay that way for a time. When he left that lifestyle, he lost focus and quickly spiraled into rapid weight gain. He'd already been doing muckbangs as a vegan, so he he stuck with it, but instead of a muckbang of 10 avacados and 15 mangos, he'd consume 1 5 large orders of McDonald's fries and 10 quarter pounders with cheese and the weight just kept piling on, but his views increased as well. He could see it was working for him as a content creator, so he he just leaned into it and into the insane character he'd created.

While I don't think gaining over 200 lbs was part of some devious master plan to trick the world, I think it is possible that because he was earning so much income, he might have intentionally delayed any weight loss attempts longer than he might have liked and I do think he did plan to lose the weight, but again not as part of some diabolical social experiment, but because while he may have loved making money, at the end of the day he knew he was neither healthy nor truly happy being grossly obese, so he eventually got commited and got skinny. Don't get me wrong, I think he's very clever when it comes to knowing what type of content will get views, and I think one thing he absolutely did orchestrate was keeping the weight loss a secret for so long, so that when he finally did reveal his new self, it would make the biggest possible impact.

My stupid theory is he's been thin for longer than he says. Some of the fat footage was made before the channel and well edited not to show dates.
I'm very baffled by this, that all I known him for, however if he did that in 7 months, what's jersh excuse.
He uploaded a video on his secondary channel stating he didn't record videos for 2 years. So, a lot of what you saw posted in the meantime was a backlog of videos. That said, that amount of weight loss over the span of two years is insane.
People are actually on his side?! Uhhh......
Yeah, fuck those people who are glad Nick is finally at a healthy weight.

I know this video has been posted to this thread, multiple times, but I think we need a bit of a refresher.
Adam is a fucking faggot and a niggerlover, but he also called it: Nick knew what he was doing the entire time and did so as a fetish.
It's not cancer. It's not AIDs. It's not Ozempic. He knew what he was doing and what he was doing was a form of sexual gratification.
Yes, that includes the part where he posted his blown out asshole to the entire internet to see, because his dick twitches thinking about it.

People hear the media call semaglutide a magic weight loss drug and simply believe it. The reality is that something like Ozempic only makes it easier to fix your appetite so you don't feel like you're starving all the time. But the reality is that most people aren't fat because they fucked up their system with years of "clean your plate" or "children in Africa". Most people are fat because they eat out of boredom or pleasure, not because they're actually hungry, and they choose to fill gorge themselves on snack foods that are high in sugar and/or carbs. No amounts of "wonder drugs" is going to fix that. Likewise, semaglutides aren't going to be a replacement for proper lifestyle; there are plenty of studies that show that people on semaglutides also end up losing lean body mass because they believe the hype and end up not eating a proper diet.
Yeah, the best science has done for weight loss has been making eating uncomfortable through surgery or drugs. Before that it was just making you high on amphetamines, so you were too fucked up to think about eating. Even with weight loss surgery, some people like Boogie2988 are so addicted to filling a void with food (and I suspect with him too being attracted to being a deteriorating fat fuck) that they'll fight through all the discomfort and force their stomach to expand again. Ozempic is just imitating that uncomfortableness with hormones, but it doesn't have the chance of permanence surgery has because they admit you just gain the weight back after you stop taking the drug. They need to address what makes people gain and regain weight, not how to get the weight off. Anyone can lose weight, plenty of fat people have done it multiple times. It's the behaviors that lead to weight gain that's the issue. I honestly believe people would have more success if doctors just focused on getting someone fat to maintain their weight for a year first before starting weight loss efforts in earnest. If you can't learn how to stop binging, you're just going to do it again after losing weight.

This is something I tell a lot of people: obesity is as much a symptom of being mentally unwell as it is being physically unwell. I had to rid myself of anxiety from "wasting food" by not "cleaning my plate" because of "those kids in Africa". I also had to get over my fear of leaving food uneaten because of the fear that it wouldn't be there when I came back to it. Those two things lead me to overeating and getting past them is what really helped me start slimming down. I know it's in vague to call therapy a scam, but I feel like some people can benefit from a therapist helping them figure out why they are overeating.

So if he lost 250 lbs in seven months, that is something like 9 lbs per week. I can't imagine that that is possible with just caloric deficit and exercise. What's that, like 4500 calories deficit per day, or am I getting it wrong? Can Ozempic increase metabolism and burning fat? I thought it just suppressed appetite.
/edit: OK, if he did it in two years it's more reasonable. Still quite more loss than is usually recommended.

Good for him, but i need more answers. Was the onlyfans and his controversial opinions on politics(i remember he got cancelled years ago cause of that) was part of the plan? I know dude is smart but not right in the head

I’m not sure what I think right now. There are just too many inconsistencies in his story. Very happy for him, if he has indeed lost weight, but as my name suggests, “I call shenanigans“. There is definitely more to this story than he is currently letting on.
Saw this screenshot on twitter. In the video posted on February 5th of this year, the milk they were drinking was stamped with an expiration date of April 1st, 2023.

So that puts the video at around 11 months old at the time of uploading, which means it's been a little over 17 months since his latest recording that we can put a rough date on. I'm willing to be charitable and assume he started his weight loss around December 2022/January 2023, so it's not too crazy given we know he had all of the dietary knowledge a person would need to shed the fat suit.

Let's do some math. The highest weight that I could find was 'high 330s' according to him, and he's probably around 170lb now. If he lost say 170 lb, that would equate to a deficit of about 595,000 calories. At 340lb his body would use about 3000 calories per day, and at 170 lb his TDEE would be about 2000 calories. So the average TDEE during his weight loss would probably be around 2300-2400 calories because losing the first 85 lb obviously takes less time than losing the second 85 lb.

That means if he stopped eating altogether and wasn't exercising, the weight loss would have taken about 250 days or 8.3 months. Of course it doesn't really work like that because the amount of calories you can get from body fat isn't infinite, and because not consuming any vitamins, minerals or protein for over half a year wouldn't be a good idea if you want to stay alive.

If we make somewhat more reasonable assumptions and say that he was eating 1,200 calories per day and burning 500 calories through exercise, losing 170 lb would take about 360 days. However, that's still pretty aggressive, because it would require perfect discipline, 1,200 calories per day is not a lot for a man, and 7 hours of exercise per week takes dedication as well. I reckon 1 year really is the minimum if he was speed-running his weight loss, but 1.5 years is a lot more realistic.
