At the time she made the tweet I posted, Volcanion (#721) was only available in Japan, as an incentive for preordering tickets to the most recent Pokemon movie. And she hadn't even beaten the main storyline of the game by the time she was claiming she had them all. So I consider it extremely unlikely that she got it through legitimate means, especially when she joked a few days later about having used a cheat program to build a team she could beat Frank with.

The electability of Trump was laughed at, rightly so at the time perhaps (he had also run for office before and completely failed), but the chance of him winning was still better than 1 in a thousand.

Johns chance of winning anything other than the special olympics is zero. He's on a completely different scale to Trump. It's like comparing a quadriplegic to the slowest 100m qualifier at the olympics. The sprinter has an almost zero chance of winning, but still at least has a chance. The quadriplegic can only wriggle around and shit the bed.

He has absolutely no talent or merit to speak of and, more importantly, this is something that would get bipartisan agreement. I cannot think of an event apocalyptic enough that John could win any office of any value in such a way that the world would have been worth living in immediately prior to him winning.

Pointing to DJT as proof positive that a non-politician can get into office is missing the point, and a lot of the point is not just the ability to make more money than you spend, but also the fact that you have to have interactions with people. Obviously DJT did, with decades of New York politics and reality TV, but Wu comes across with a personality that will repel anyone that comes in contact. Even local school board types that have no political experience can resort to door to door meet-n-greets, something Wu will never do, at least not without REEEEEEEEEEEEEEing and name-calling when anyone expresses doubt.

I'd love to see John go door to door with anything related to politics. People yell and scream at you, threaten you, have tantrums, but really, the most draining part is lonely people who will try to keep you around because they literally have nobody else to talk to. John couldn't cope with any of those things, lacking all empathy or capability of dealing with disagreement. You can't really snap back at the assholes, either, because if you're going door to door with politics shit, you really are the asshole yourself no matter how legitimate the issue.

Actually my vp is a woman and most of the teams that report to her are run by women that are a mix of directors and senior managers.
