Classic cycle of abuse shit.
Desmond had his childhood ruined by his psycho mother, pimped out at gay bars for faggots, and he thinks its normal so he's fully into grooming and indoctrinating other kids too, because he doesn't see how fucked up it is.
Now maybe he comes to his senses and realizes what his mother has done to him, but I think a combination of the drugs she kept him on, uppers to make him energetic enough to dance at 2am at the Fag Bars, and downers so he's sleepy and doesn't cause problems after the show for his "personal meetings" with big dono customers :cryblood: combined with the way his sister said she restricts food as punishment and to control them, and his obviously malnourished state, have left him mildly retarded and certainly subnormal, and delayed, so he might not ever get it.

I see this ending one of two ways. He either gets caught doing something fucked up himself because he's been brainwashed and mindfucked into Slaanesh tier degenerate shit since he was a kid, or he snaps and takes his mother out for what she's done.
Maybe maybe he realizes how fucked up his upbringing was and writes a tell all book at some point in 10 years once the pendulum has swung all the way back, but I just don't see this has a happy ending.

He's fucked.
It used to be sad, it still is, but the older he gets the more genuine creep vibes he gives off.
He never had a chance.

It's not necessarily weight, it's just his body taking the shape of a male body. He could make a good male model, actually, he has good looks, but that's not part of his mother's fantasy of having a girly girl she can project herself to be.

Yeah, def not what model once meant but somewhere in the andro and heroin chic sphere he could get a small career going 4 sure. Problem with that is, that whole segment is troon pozzed now (probably, low key at least, always was). The time where you could make it big on the troon card alone while looking like a goblin are kinda over already and everybody is trooning and grooming their weird looking desmond-kid into it now. Hunter Schafer, Andreja Pejic and their supportive parents set the precedent for that and sweeped the tables about a decade ago.
It's alway monkey see monkey does with tennis parents like his. It was a one off gimmick that had it's limelight and now it's over. Let's face it: he wont be doing little mail order cataloque tier gigs as a side hussle while working a regular blue collar job, he's going to end in the gutter, fully trooned out. But maybe he will still unfuck himself but with mommy dearest casting her shadow, there's little hope.

Problem is, I'm certain he isn't gay.
He's been brought up to act gay, to revere the gay lifestyle, and been groomed to look and act gay, but only his own internal compass can know if he's actually attracted to men.
I think the fact that he only ever says Queer (meaning odd, which he is!) and has never said anything about actual sexual attraction might mean he's just that weird kind of Autistic Asexual or just not very mature yet but it seems odd to me...
