I don't know enough Democrats to get a feel for that. I do think that he's probably a bit chafed at Biden's stepping down. He was lined up to be a candidate for 2028, if Harris wins, she's the 2028 candidate by default. Harris loses, he gets a chance to be on the ballot of 2028.

Ultimately everyone has priorities. It doesn't matter what political side you're on or if your priorities are even related to politics and social causes. Leftoids operate on cognitive dissonance and cult behavior regardless but sometimes they still have to choose what they ultimately want the most. For some its their "right" to be a sexual degenerate without consequences...for many, they care more about non-white people and especially "refugees" than they do anything else. She mentioned having family in Brownsville, TX and it provides a great point of comparison for her situation. When she says Brownsville is just a few miles from the border, that's not an exaggeration. It's right on the Rio Grande. Five miles south of incorporated Brownsville and you're in Mexico. You might expect the place to be pretty severely "enriched," but it's nowhere near as fucked as the stories coming out of Springfield.

The Mexicans who haven't integrated will do some barbaric shit like underground dogfighting and cockfighting, but they aren't running around eating pets. Rapists and diddlers who aren't picked up by the cops have a tendency to receive community justice. Bear in mind that these people hate the new wave of invaders, be they sudaco/negro/whatever. The established Mexicans have a nice sleepy life down in that part of Texas, and invaders (so far at least) don't seem to be sticking around in any quantity.
