Hasn't Trump done like what, six, of these, total, now? Over three campaigns? Harris has one previous VP debate and this one Presidential debate performance in her political career history, right? I found the debate entertaining, even though it lacked the live audience reaction element the Trump/Clinton debates had last decade, more than any other one I've ever watched and wished there's at least one more of them in the future for entertainment purposes. The eating the pets of people quote is going on Trump's political career tombstone, by far the hardest I've ever laughed at one of these things. When you consider their respective performances to their experience levels in being in these, it was a very long and poor night for the former president especially when compared to his opponent's performance with a much smaller experience sample size to draw on in her past versus his.

I have a shit, /pol/ tier personal theory that JD Vance only exists in Trump's orbit because of Peter Thiel. (The closest thing to a George Soros of the right wing political sphere) Dude's got like... 9 Billion dollars and fucks around regularly with the GOP political world as a hobby. He's funded several far right, young politicians in the last few years that haven't really taken off. Madison Cawthorn being one of them.
In this shit theory, Peter made a demand that he would only continue the financial and political support of the shit show that is the GOP if Trump picked someone relatively young and unblemished to shadow and emulate him for his final years in politics to learn how to grift. But this time under Peter's venture capitol watch.
Peter's got a whole law named after him in the entrepreneurial world. "A startup messed up at it's foundation cannot be fixed". Trump is a lucrative, political marketing machine. But it's messed up and always has been. There's no fixing him and there's no fixing the political business he's created.
But take a fresh face and keep him in line while using some of Trump's political tactics? You might have something there.
