It's not that the Dems haven't figured out meme culture. It's that they literally cannot do meme culture.

Memes are inherently similar to political cartoons. They require an acceptance of some form of underlying reality, pointing out something with it, and then stepping back and letting you come to a conclusion.

But that's not how leftist politics and culture works. They have to guide you to a very specific conclusion, often one that defies the most obvious one. They can't risk having you come to the wrong one, they can't risk losing ideological hegemony over the audience.

So they can't meme. Inherently can't meme. It's why their memes explode into paragraphs of text. Because they can only do two things -- lefty paragraph memes, and lefty political cartoons, where instead of a paragraph of text they use artistic tells to do something similar, leading you to a specific emotional and pseudological conclusion.

It's why they haven't reacted to meme culture other than to try and subvert / oppress / shadowban it. Because they can't do anything else.

Memes are a form of humor, and all humor is simply making an unexpected connection in information you already know. A standard joke and punchline has the set up where it provides you with the basic facts as if someone is handing you puzzle pieces, with the punchline being the one piece needed to assemble the puzzle into a picture. Memes merely use facts that you have already learned through observation and experiences, then provide you with a puzzle piece to let you see those facts in a different way, or make a connection you didn't anticipate but makes sense.

Democrat humor is handing you puzzle pieces, then assembling the puzzle for you so you don't assemble it the wrong way, hammering in the pieces that only sorta fit

Americans are getting less comfy by the day. This election feels make or break moment for the US. If Trump loses it confirms that we are trapped in a single party Dem oligarchy which makes a lot of people (and more importantly states) mighty uncomfy. If he wins then he can buy the US some extra years and hopefully get shit sorted for long term. If Kamala wins I don't expect a revolution of MAGA guerrilla fighters taking to the street. I do think we will see a crisis as states leave this sham Union and Kamala doesn't have the gravitas to stop them.

Yep, the dog barked, so the three federal agents that were creeping through the brush on the Weaver property decided, "fuck identifying ourselves or saying anything, lets just waste this dog right in front of a 14 year old boy with his deer rifle". Literally the only thing I know about Haitians is that they got assmad over vidya ages ago, and made Rockstar censor GTA Vice City for having Danny Trejo's character shittalk their gang and culture. I think I will say it at this point: I think bringing up the springfield ohio stuff was a mistake. Specifically stuff about the pets.

Is that stuff probably really happening? Yes. Were the memes funny as fuck? Absolutely.

But I think it put a chink in the armor that didn't really need to be there. The problem is, a fact is only real if the people actually look at the evidence. And the inherent absurdity of what he was saying ended up preventing people from looking any deeper. A lot of talk from the people around me was "Wow, he thinks they are eating dogs! What a wacko!" Without looking into the situation.

It also hurt because it gave them something solid for the TDS brain. I think before this, people were kind of cracking and realizing that kamala had nothing to her. Him publicly stating multiple times his stance against p2025 and an abortion ban was close enough to showing they lost the two hanging reasons they were anti trump.

Above all, I think trump needs to realize that ye needs to bring his own evidence to the next debate. Next time, he needs to bring his own phone, and hold it up on full volume the next time they try to "erm, actually" him.

Edit: Oh, and if kamala keeps whining for another debate, tell her they can have it on fox news this time.
