This is what I always try to tell people: the WEF globohomo liberal coastal elites are technocrats, some of them self-described technocrats, and they are often completely deluded.

He is the third person to self-immolate outside an Israeli consulate since Israel began its genocidal destruction of Gaza.

Per a Youtube short someone tracked down published Wednesday, a man states he’s named Matt Nelson and says he’s “going to engage in an extreme act of protest,” noting that “we are all culpable in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”

I do not understand why these people think setting themselves on fire will get what they want. Not that I’m advocating for this, but if they really want to perform extreme protest, why not go fight in the war or something, like all the traitorous commies did in the Spanish civil war?

George HW Bush lost re-election to Clinton in a landslide. Clinton, on the other hand, actually became more popular in his re-election bid and won by an even greater margin. Then Bush barely won in 2000 and significantly improved four years later, winning decisively. Yes, that was in part because Kerry was such a weak candidate, but the matter of the fact is Bush would have still done so much better than the first time no matter who the Democrats picked. He was popular because he was seen as uniting the country in the wake of 911 and terrorism. Meanwhile, Obama won a landslide in 2008 but the margins were way closer in 2012.

And, wouldn’t you know it, he was so unpopular that after eight years of his reign, Trump turned Iowa, Ohio, and Florida into safe red states, and turned Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania into battlegrounds. Obama was also outright hated in Texas and both McCain and Romney won them by yuge margins, Hillary actually got a greater share of the vote in 2016 than Obama did either time. Still, you never hear anything about Texas because while it is fundamentally more competitive now, it’s still safe red.
