It feels like some sort of bullshit, it really does. BUT, it's believable to me, shit has been super weird since that attempt two months ago.

I'm trying to think and put into words how bizarre it is that there's a very real possibility that one single man, one single very orange man, has caused so much stress and panic in people who are supposed to be professionals and the best at what they do, to the point they start becoming so sloppy and obvious. Full blown panic mode, with a threat of war.

And all he had to do was turn his head slightly.

Crooks failing his shot has been an absolute goddamn disaster that's spiraled out of control if this story about DHS and FBI collusion is true. MOUNTAINS of spaghetti falling out of glowie pockets.

But only if it's true.

I joke and clown on shit but this kind of collaboration within the US government becoming open would cause a LOT of problems and a lot of panic, which is probably why that bipartisan investigation is supposedly 'too big to cover up.'

It would basically vindicate all conspiracy theorising and fringe investigative efforts who got it right, and it would incriminate everyone involved from Crooks' death and coverup onwards. No timeline, no information, no motive, and a convenient cremation of the body before autopsy could be done.

All this caused by a funny media nuisance who likes to golf and refuses to go away or die without a fight, while mocking everyone on the internet. Basically types like Chris-chan and has the entire world focus on him when he does ANYTHING, because they hate him THAT MUCH.

That seems like a terrible thing for the Democrats, as now instead of being the lesser of two evils it will be the biggest evil and people will come out of the woodwork to vote for the new parties. One of the biggest reasons Trump was elected was because he was something new, and the voter base has corrupt politician fatigue

Your right that people will be voting for new parties (emphasis on the plural). Dems have their base locked down pretty hard and with how elections work in the US smaller parties will only split votes and basically act as spoilers to each other, assuming they even get onto the ballot in the first place with how fucked the process is in some states. A big part of why Trump won was he was able to take over the RNC from the inside, if MAGA was a separate party it would only be modestly more successful than the Greens and Libertarians and we would've had Hillary as president.

Blumenthal's reaction really surprised me, he seemed very pissed. I don't know what to make of it, or him honestly. If it is as big as I think it is, a few out of the loop congress people and senators are going to be livid. Some plugged in ones might even see the tide turning and think they are smart enough to escape this.

I can't see how this ends any other way than with Trump winning, and I think they know what's coming

Quick question, what if you zeroed in for much further out. Obviously he just forgot/didn't know that fact. But what if he overshot zeroing in instead, not to sound like an African but I feel like you would want to go for the highest number if you're assuming youre going to be very far away

The light that goes through your sights/optic/scope travels in a straight line. However, bullets don't as they're affected by gravity.

When you're zeroing a rifle, you're adjusting it so the barrel very minutely angles upward, so the bullet travels a parabolic arc. In other words, it goes up before dropping down into the target area.

If Crooks had zeroed his rifle for 100 yards, (that is, the bullets will ascend before descending into the bullseye at 100 yards). I don't know my holdovers off the top of my head, but with a 100-yard zero, 5.56 bullets will generally be a few inches under your crosshair. This is pretty good for practical shooting, since if I'm aiming at your sternum but hit two inches low, that will still fuck you up. So if Crooks had zeroed for 100 yards, and had aimed at Trumps chest at ~150 yards, the bullet would've impacted +/- a few inches from where his crosshair was (ignoring the RNG accuracy of bullets). This would've fucked up Trump, since I don't think the armor he's undoubtedly wearing could adequately stop a rifle bullet, even 5.56.

However, with a 25-yard zero, the bullet would have weird holdovers, since ARs aren't primarily means for such (relatively) short ranges. As mentioned, the bullet will be nearly a foot off the mark at 150 yards, which is huge.
