Starfield - Bethesda's new space IP: will probably be full of fun and easily trackable bugs

How do you think Starfield will turn out?

I can buy that hags are working desk jobs at the Arasaka rip off sure but I have to imagine that space bounty hunters would probably not be 50+ year old women if they existed in real life.
Yeah, I doubt that bounty hunters would even reach the age of 50, especially in a setting like Starfield.

Why are progressives so obsessed with incest? pretty much any Sweetbaby funded game will have someone fucking their kids and or parents.
Incest was one of the options for the next degeneracy to be pushed. It's why there was a glut of incest porn for years that seems to be dying off now. It was incest or pedophilia or zoophilia so incest was seen as the most palatable option once tranny shit was accepted.

Part of the reason Starfield sucks so hard is that Bethesda hired the guy who made the Interesting NPCs mod for Skyrim to do quest/npc dialogue. That mod absolutely had some good stuff in it like Anum La the argonian but a lot of the content was of the excessively wordy and quirky variety.
Yeah that's what I heard and it made a lot of sense. The good parts of interesting NPCs are really good but the ratio of shit to quality errs far further on the side of shit.

Not to mention that he was using the far more interesting Elder Scrolls setting to base characters in. You tell me I have to write an NPC in the Starfield universe and I'd probably come up with some boring shit too because there is nothing compelling to base a character on.
Which npc is this? I must have missed that one.
Fuck I remember this. He goes on about how bigoted everyone is then drops the bombshell that he is fucking his orc daughter. Crazy shit.

I want to say he also added a character who had an entire questline dedicated to a man magically transitioning into a woman, though maybe that was a different mod. Hard to say.

Jews are highly inbred so they seek to normalize it across all the media they control.

I briefly tried the Recorder follower years and years ago and had an issue where she would randomly take of her clothes/armor and walk around naked and I thought it was actually a feature because the entire character has that kind of "quirky" lolsorandum reddit humor.

I only realized it was an actual bug when I checked the mod page.

There are a lot of Sofias and recorders and only one Russell from FNV.

I miss Someguy2000

Russel somehow managed to be the edgiest but most tolerable follower mod I've ever had. The sort of military ball busting but genuine camaraderie you can have with Russel really makes him stand out in his writing because you aren't punished for being kind of a dick and you don't have to fellate him non stop for a good ending.

I remember during the early stage of trying to find Glanton and you have to find the key in the shack you can call Russel a dumbass for missing an obvious hiding spot and he just flips you off. Shit like that elevates Someguy's writing a ton.

Same thing with Steven Randall, SomeGuy's characters feel shockingly like real people despite being written by an amateur with no formal professional writing experience.

It's because Someguy has both real life experience with people of all kinds and is very well-read, unlike most modding troons who only talk to people on Discord and jerk off inside all day.

One year later and this game, and Bethesda, have shockingly little to show for it. I have seen more interesting content coming out of Fallout 76 at this point...not that you will ever catch me dead playing it but still.

Nobody brings this game up if not to mock it, its incredible. The only reason people still arent mocking it is that other awful games came out in the last year that stole its spotlight (which is just sad to think the industry is this bad now).

Bethesda has also been a tad quiet about Starfield, again, we hear more about 76 than it. The company was all loud and about with this game and yet the moment it came out, or rather, the reviews, or rather rather, the actual non shill reviews, they went quiet. All they are doing is throwing a DLC that is bound to underperform on sales and reviews and I doubt we are seeing anything major of this series ever again.

Bethesda will move to TES 6 and I cant wait for that to be its own brand of shitshow given the company's reputation is the lowest it has ever been thanks to this game and the highly controversial fallout TV show. I too look forward to Fallout 5 and how they will face a fanbase that clearly hates them outside of shill circle jerks.

The problem is you can't really fix Starfield the way No Man's Sky or Cyberpunk got fixed. 2077, at least, had a very fun setting and characters beneath the mechanical missteps. Throw three more years of dev time and an overhaul at it and yeah, you get a solid game.

No Man's Sky was so empty that every update was significant (and free).

They are banking HARD on this DLC to save the game but it's going to cost additional money and it's only really adding a new map and another badly written faction.

Unless House Va'Ruun makes the universe compelling as a whole, completely reworks the leveling and perk system, adds dynamic space traversal, adds about 100 more prefab dungeon layouts, characters that aren't shit, and completely reworks all vanilla dialogue and demographics, then I don't see it doing much.

The DLC comes out in what, 2 or 3 weeks and yet nothing, no vidoc about Emil's favourite faction.

I read on reddit that enough people bitched that the next update is going to introduce the flip merge glitch that Bethesda patched out into an official option in Ship Building.

Don't know if that's made up cope or not, but it'd kind of be funny because we'd now have at least two things Bethesda made a point of saying they didn't want in the game, only to then add into the game because enough people pointed out how shitty it was to not include/remove them.

Edit: Also, the Starfield subreddit needed to put up a PSA reminding Premium Edition owners they already own the expansion and shouldn't re-buy it. I thought the guy who posted it was just being retarded, but enough people responded that they forgot that I thought it was a funny look into the type of tards that make up the "hardcore" Starfield fanbase.

Bethesda put out a deep dive video on Shattered Space today:
(archive)

In this video they mention handcrafted content, and don't say anything about procedural generation. Maybe Bethesda started noticing the popular criticisms of Starfield's design.

At the end of the video they say that how you finish the quest will have repercussions in the rest of the game. Sure bud, because Bethesda is well known for their quests changing the game. The only people who'll be playing this will be the Bethcucks who paid for the Ultra Platinum edition of the game. No one is going to spend $20 or $30 on a DLC that's only one star system. And I thought no one besides a few agents knew where the Va'Ruun home world was? How is the Crimson Fleet there?
