It's gotten so bad that at this point Karl getting buttfucked by Mitchell for every cent and property would be the funniest outcome. Some lolcowdoms have gone down this nebula where they try to present one guy as so monstrously bad, they make themselves look ridiculous when they fail to make them go away.
I genuinely can't stand this grifting faggot setting up all these "BILLY MITCHELL IS OVER" videos that take just one minute of verification to show the one dimensional bad guy Billy got exactly what he wanted. While I can see why you would think this, since it's annoying when some faggot is grifting and selling some shit, that is how he is bankrolling his defense in the lawsuit. Billy is the one who sued Karl, so it's hard to say that Karl shouldn't do all he can to make money with which to defend himself. He said the trial date is set for September 16th so hopefully it will be settled soon.
I don't know what verifiably untrue narrative you're referring to, but Billy definitely cheated and I don't think the terms of the settlement he reached with Twin Galaxies was ever made public, so the umbrage he took with how they executed their end of the agreement cannot be verified. I may be mistaken about this however, the details of the settlement may have been released st one point.

I'm specifically talking about instances like earlier this year, when the TG lawyer made a complete jackass out of himself and basically gave Billy the best outcome he could hope for. And he tried to spin it as Billy exploding like a Super Sentai villain in defeat.
It's fine if he needs it for legal defense, but it does knock down your credibility if you just say the opposite of what really happened.

Well, it seems to be something like that. I don't think the details were made public like I said, so I can only hope Billy is made to eat shit and cry about it. In the end nobody in his audience likes Billy so they are galvanized against him, which Karl uses to make money. I think he's spent like 500k AUD or some shit defending himself from Billy so I always try to keep that in mind whenever I think about how huge a faggot Karl is.

I guess it depends on how much goes on. Billy Mitchell hasn't been saying anything about it and Karl Jobst hasn't made a video recently. I don't think Australian civil cases, or any court cases there, are streamed so we wouldn't get information unless there's someone going to trial every day.
I assume Karl would give updates daily but obviously he's a pretty biased source for how the trial is going.

Putting the legal process aside for a moment, Jobst is one of those hbomberguy types who will identify a suitable "villain" and tell the whole world why they're evil to justify everyone rallying their self-righteous indignant fury against this villain through the "hero" figure of Jobst/hbomberguy. It doesn't work out so well when that "villain" is actually some feeble dumbfuck who was in the wrong, but will crumple under the ensuing dogpile a la James Somerton or Apollo Legend. When they're a Tommy Tallarico or Billy Mitchell then you can go pretty far.
Of course Billy Mitchell is a douche, but Karl Jobst is every bit as insufferable in his own right. If he truly cared about human decency then he should start with his friendship with that open pedophile Christopher Gesualdi instead of "he cheated at Pac-Man 40 years ago." Karl can't even claim the high ground as he's already admitted to similarly cheating to get fake scores/times published in a magazine to win a competition. He's a cheater who realized there's a lot of clout to be gained from exposing his own kind. He always did have keen insight into the headspace of these cheaters, after all.
