Unfathomably based. A lot of people have a knee-jerk dislike of DeSantis because he dared to primary President Trump, but the man is legit impressive and exercises executive power at a level Trump never even attempted in his first term.

People dislike Desantis because he made unforced, extreme errors in his campaign that raise huge questions about his effectiveness. I thought we got past the Desantis cocksucking a year ago.

Bullshit, I was saying DeSantis was overhyped since 2019 and the dislike wasn't due to him running against Trump in-and-of-itself but that he was propped up by the Murdoch Media Machine and big donors who openly stated their intention to "blunt the vein of populism in the GOP." The Bush faction was clearly the one snaking their tendrils around him and through him.

While I do not identify as a populist specifically, I knew it was a giant red flag when many of the same figures who eagerly shilled for W Bush, McCain, and Romney but went on to shill against Trump, shilled for DeSantis in droves. There was also clearly a bot / paid shill operation going on the internet.

There isn't even a perceived need to do mail in right now, and many have become redpilled on mailin voting. The fact that the dems had a 6 times higher drop is the crazy part.

What should worry you is 2016 numbers. You can view all those mail ins for Dems as guaranteed votes.

Logically speaking both should he down as its not a "pandemic" year and mail in isnt being pushed as hard.

Strictly speaking it looks like mail ins are down about 1 / 7th for Trump and a down a quarter for Dems. Which seems good?

Given how much of a cackling disaster Kamala is, it would be far more humiliating/jealousy-inducing for Hillary to have to live with the fact that someone with even less charisma/experience/likability should garner the historical title of first female president before her. Especially since 2016 was Her Turn™. I’d definitely be rooting for Kamala to get trounced if I was Hillary. If anything, to avoid being labeled the biggest loser of all time in the history books (with some textbook “if-I-can’t-have-this-neither-can-you” female pettiness sprinkled in).

At this point Hilary probably just wants Trump dead and the murder recorded on tape so she can watch it on loop like a snuff film until she died.

PA was a close race in 2020 and is this time. Biden won 50.01% to to 48.84%. Any sign of lagging enthusiasm in Dems is good news for Trump. If you believe mail-in votes are a fraud vector, then fewer in play is better.

a lot of Trump voters in 2020 were also overly concerned about the scamdemic, which is why I scoff at people on the right who claim that he should have been more of a COVID Dove in order to win, and speaking of DeSantis - as mentioned multiple times last year, Ron and Don were basically the SAME on COVID so the people shilling against Trump as if he was on the same level as Cuomo&Newsome were playing revisionist history

anyway, the point is - the GOP dropping in mail in votes from 2020 on the same exact point in the election cycle doesn't mean there will be an overall drop relative to 2020, but that GOP voters like Team D is not worried about COVID (well to be fair there are still some mask wearers on Team D but based on my experience in NYC, even the rabid vaxxies are generally unmasked)

of course it is technically possible that overall turnout in states like PA will be lower than in 2020 because political fatigue is a genuine widespread thing and there are fewer people relative to 2020 staying at home getting political from their TV and computer screen, because there's not much else to do - but even then, Team D will see more of a dropoff in voters than MAGA

Not necessarily. In 2020 there was zero scrutiny on ANY mail-in ballots. That has changed in a lot of places.

Also, nationwide numbers are meaningless. Same for polls. Popular vote doesn't matter.

They also can't steal beyond the maximum mail-ins requested. They would have to use other methods like absentee, provisional, and ‘found’ day-of ballots. They also can’t steal too many R mail-ins. If the R mail-ins don’t line up with day-of, it creates questions.
