Drug addiction is such a difficult and perfidious disease that is notoriously hard to treat. I don't say this often, but I genuinely feel Austin may be one of the few addicts who will respond well to rehab, in that it'll dry him out just enough to chase away the psychosis so by the time he returns to streaming he'll be healthy and ready to go back to doing drugs for days at a time and smashing his room to pieces in a gamba induced rage.

He's addicted to god knows how many drugs plus gambling. That's like an ouruboros of addiction.

Not sure how long you've been following this saga, but he caught this crack cocaine possession charge because the police arrested him for domestic violence when he returned from his crack dealer. Austin is out on what you could loosely call "probation" for a first time offender "Deferred Disposition" in Domestic Relations court at the same time he is out on bond for the felony drug possession.

He is literally a violent drug offender.
