I can already hear that Soystation 5 soyboy I linked earlier who claims 80% of his library are Playstation games barely holding back his excitement right now. And just in time for the new PS5 Pro, of which he promises to buy 2!
A game that got a PC port and got a 60fps patch on PS5. Least remasters games that haven't came to PC yet, or better yet some PS3 games that could do with a bit of a graphics uplift/ improved frame rate like the Infamous games or Ratchet Future games
You're never going to see a new Infamous unless it's a gritty, realistic Demake with tons of poz

$700 (PS5 Pro) + $80 (Disc Drive) + $30 (Vertical Stand) + ($80/year PSN) + $70 (Upscaled version of a 7 years old game)"

Snoys are the lowest form of consoomer paying a premium to eat pre-chewed pap .

Meanwhile PC gamers eating like Kings for free with community mods:

Total Snoy DEATH!

I don't know *anyone* that has played Horizon games.

However, I do know people who have *bought* them.

Let that sink in.
I tried the PC port. Between the dull premise, the characters devoid of personality, the unskippable cutscenes, and the fucking endless on-rails tutorial, I don't think I even made it an hour.

It's really a perfect encapsulation of modern (and particularly modern Sony) video game sensibilities. If you're a very good boy and eat all your vegetables, maybe the developers will let you have a couple minutes of fun and agency before the next cutscene starts.

I only wound up with the first one because they gave it away during COVID. Then my PS4 started dying. What a good friend it was to me, killing itself so I wouldn't ever have to play a Horizon game.

Nintendo recycled assets from Breath of The Wild to make Tears of The Kingdom but at least they introduced new mechanics and mixed up things a little to excuse calling it a new game.

Sony treats their costumers like Alzheimer patients: "Hey, remember that not-so-old game? No? Can't blame you. Here play it again, if you forgot then it is like brand new for you!

They did the same with Majora's Mask and that turned out quite nicely. Asset flips don't have to suck.
If you flip assets in order to lessen the load on your team while they come up with new mechanics/story and they still find ways to add more worlds/puzzles in order to feel like you are getting money for your buck then it was worth it for me. It did not need the price hike though.

Honestly, I remember how people complained when TOTK showcased phasing and fusion because those two mechanics are notoriously hard to program. And Nintendo just did it. I honestly understand why some feel cheated (it should have stayed the same prize as BOTW) but they were not sitting on their asses like most others do.
